Service was really good and the waitress was VERY easy on the eyes. The food isn’t the freshest, what’s labeled on the menu doesn’t stand up to scrutiny (fresh local freshwater fish), and wasn’t too bad. Their dessert menu looked pretty good. I had the chicken liver which was a bit overcooked and
We took our rainbow trout catch and they cooked it for us so perfectly. The side dishes and the dessert was very yummy. We loved our waiter Lynn. She was so friendly. Great service. Nice people. Great food.
This was a real surprise in a small north Georgia town. The place looked brand new and the service was excellent. They had a great menu with lots of options and the prices for these inflationary days were very reasonable. They have an excellent dessert menu too. We had the banana pudding but I reall
After several days of eating out at expensive specialty restaurants we were looking for something to bring back to the cabin to eat in. This place checked off the box just right! Service was quick. The price was VERY reasonable, I would even say cheap. If your in the area I would definitely try this
We found this gem just by accident and ended up eating there three times while on vacation. The food and service was excellent. The first night I had a vegetable plate of collards, fried okra, green beans, and pinto beans, which was all homemade and not canned. My husband had country fried steak & g
Nice atmosphere, great service and fabulous food! Bowl of French onion soup was delicious, filled with croutons and onions, topped with cheese, and broth was perfect! Most soups are too salty, but this was spot on. Shrimp and grits was a generous portion that included 8 shrimp over cheesy grits, in
Really excellent! Shrimp and grits was so good my wife, Boston Betty, may actually learn to eat "Georgia Ice Cream" . Her French Onion Soup was the first restaurant instance that was not overly salty. Betty tasty. Corn casserole was very good. Very happy we came here.
Carrot cake was delicious. It's a bit pricey, but sized to share, so worth it! Our waitress was super and food was good. Everything tasted fresh.
The staff seemed overwhelmed. If I asked for something it seemed like it like it was an inconvenience. The food was good but not great. It is definitely one of the best restaurants in Dillard/Sky Valley if your in the area. Mimosas were nice as not everyone has them.
Jason was our waiter and let me tell you, you’ll wanna request for him! He’s personable, efficient, knowledgeable about the menu, and was very receptive of our large party of 10 and worked it so smoothly. I got the ‘Chicken & Waffle’ and “Biscuit’s and Gravy’ w a sausage patty. Everything was deli
First time here, has loads of potential to be a great diner, we arrived just at the cut off for breakfast so ate the buffet instead. Not really what we were hoping for, but intended to return to eat breakfast and order from the menu. Service was great and very friendly.
What a wonderful surprise along our journey home! You’ll not find a cleaner restaurant nor a more pleasant, efficient and helpful staff. The food was delicious, too! I got a veggie plate and my fella got chicken and waffles - all terrific! Thank you!
Grilled shrimp was as good as I’ve ever eaten! Fried shrimp was a little too salty for my taste though. Everything else was superb. Lynne, our server was there checking on us constantly and provided great service. We will go back next time we are in the area.
Great place when looking for a good Southern breakfast! We stopped in on a whim and really enjoyed our meal. My son wanted oatmeal and it was not on the menu; other than that, everything you would expect was on the menu, even hot tea! Our order was taken fairly quickly and the food came out withi
Very good service and friendly! We were greeted by the owner and he spent time chatting with the locals. It has a warm atmosphere with many local photographs, many old, hanging up in the back. The food looks just like the menu pictures and tastes just as good. Thank you for a good experience. W

The Thursday night special of all the shrimp you can eat is wonderful!! Choice of fried grilled or blackened. Large shrimp with light breading. So good and $18 good value.
Good breakfast and fair prices, never had a bad meal here!
My wife and I planned to visit the Black Rock Mountain but it was cloudy and by the time we got there it was closed. Little heartbroken we decided to find a place to dine in and get back to our Airbnb. We were on a budget so were not really looking for an expensive place to dine in. Looking around
