Review Six East Restaurant - Dickson City

Honest Gabe
This small diner on the side of the highway has a cozy feel to it. Established in 1985, Six East Diner has the classic look you'd expect and the owner, Paul Wanas, knows how to run it. I came in and saw him sit down with customers, go outside to shovel snow, water plants, etc. He doesn't seem like the type of guy to sit around and have everyone do it for him. That says a lot about his work ethic. Which leads me to the service, it was great. Kenny, the waiter who served me, was extremely kind and helpful, checking up on me periodically with a big smile making sure everything was ok. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for good food and a decent price with great service. Ask for Kenny.

Thank you so much for the wonderful meal, to celebrate our 90th anniversary for St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church

Best Pierogies I’ve ever had in my life! They were homemade and delicious. My wife’s Ruben was excellent. Good atmosphere and plenty of seating. The service was great. We have never been here before but we will be back for the pierogies!

Excellent food, great selection of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fast and friendly service every time, in addition to being in a convenient, easily accessible location on the highway. All-American old style diner. Be sure to stop in here. 👍

From the rice pudding to cabbage rolls, perogies to fish, everything was exceptional. When we travel from Virginia to northeast Pennsylvania this is a must stop for us. Great service and value. A locally owned gem surrounded by the predictable chain giants.

Just stopped here Sunday June 10th at 7:15, the waitress was sweeping & told us they were closed.... the hours said 8, so I’m leaving a one star review on that principle. I own a restaurant and up until the exact time we close I serve people...

I have been coming here for about 5 years. The staff really make it feel like home. The food is all homemade and always delicious.

My favorite place for breakfast and lunch. Good food and a friendly staff.

Overpriced. My boyfriend and I ordered a grilled cheese and tuna club, they were child sized portions and still cost around 8 bucks each. Ridiculous, we'll never go again.
