I received and holiday gift from this shop from a family in my school. The cheese was spectacular and the chocolate unique. I can’t wait to go to the shop in person!
Will and the Zach’s are amazing! They are so knowledgeable and welcoming in this little cheese shop. Zach helped us pick some amazing cheeses while constantly offering us delicious samples and stories of all his favorites. The chocolate selection was amazing as well with so many unique exotic options you can’t find anywhere else.
Cheese is my weakness and it's so nice to have a local purveyor with owners who know their stuff and are passionate about what they do like Zach Berg and Will Werner at Provisions. Stopping in for cheese and chocolate at Provisions then meat straight from the butcher at the attached Farm Field Table is so much better than a generic grocery store experience. Love this place!
Spent the morning here tasting all the cheese and chocolates with Zach and Will. I highly recommend this shop. The choices were fantastic, but what truly makes this a magical spot is the passion these guys have for what they are doing. They truly love their products, and sharing them with you. You can feel the enthusiasm radiating off of them as they guide you through tasting all of their products. It was such a pleasure chatting with them this morning. Super friendly folks with some seriously fantastic cheeses. I didn’t try the chocolate but it looked amazing as well. I came from Roseville and it is definitely worth the drive! Will be back
Will was very informative with teaching us about different aging processes, smoked cheese and cured meats. The assortment he helped us put together is amazing. It’s a 45 mile drive from our home but we will be repeat customers.
Zach and Will are not only experts in gourmet foods but they are storytellers. Beautiful selections and impeccable service. Perfect for weekly shopping, special trays and gifts.
My husband and and I spent the day in Ferndale for our birthdays. Provisions was a must do on my list of places to stop and I was blown away by how friendly, knowledgeable, and excited to share the owners were. We will definitely make the hour trip back again soon. Thanks for the experience!
Went in for the first time the other day, and I must say, what an awesome spot! Had a great time chatting with Zach, sampling a few cheeses and some awesome chocolate (I'm not a chocolate fan). Ended up leaving with some calabrese.

For any and all of your Cheese, Chocolate, Charcuterie needs! This Buisness is the tupe you wanna visit often to see what they'll bring in next!(you can also follow their IG account and website for all Mongers related news) I've ordered Charcuterie boards from here for 20ppl it was one of the biggest hits at the XMas party. Even if you don't know what you like or dislike jus ask for help the ppl behind the counter will always suggest a few things yes with tastings to help you decide, if you're coming hete for needs for certain dishes tell them what your making and yep you guessed they'll help you make the right choices! There is two locations to serve you! Happy Cheesing!
Such a cool place with an incredibly friendly staff. You can try a sample of any cheese and chocolate your imagination could think of, they insist too! You can also order a grilled cheese while you shop. I got the Detroit Raclette grilled cheese which consists of raclette cheese, better made potato chips, and cornichons, delicious!
I love this place! It’s fantastic if you’re putting together a picnic 🧺 or a charcuterie board and you want to try something completely different. Their meats and cheeses 🧀 are unreal, and they are generous with their samples. They also have wonderful chocolates 🍫 and all of the little things to make your picnic or dinner party or charcuterie a success - nuts, crackers, jams, etc... Theres street parking in front of the shop and it’s easy to get in and out with a minimal wait.
This was my first time to Monger's but it will not be my last. The two people in the store (I'm terrible with remembering names but I believe it was Matthew and Daffni) were very nice and friendly. Thank you both for the great charcuterie plate, made my day.

I've always have good experiences with the Mongers' Provisions employees (even at other locations), very kind and will let you try any chocolate in the store! Got two delicious bars, and several beverages the last time I was there.
I love the selection! The manchego they sold me was definitely older than they said it was but no complaints from me!
