The service was quick. The cake was dry. I had the lemon cake. Please try for yourself I believe it’s black owned. Because of that I’m gonna try it again. Next time strawberry cake.

They have a small section inside the Bucharest Grill. I bought the limoncello cake the first time I went there. I'd never had it before and wanted to see what it was like. It was good, but it is the lemon-blueberry cake that I got the next time I went, that will keep me coming back, excellent flavor and texture. It was great👍

Everything I buy from here is A1. Cakes are delicious and moist. Cheesecakes are delicious. I mean literally anything you buy will be delicious. Hands down my favorite Bake Shop.

My rating is based on customer service. The associate was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thus far I've had one bite of the short cake I gave my mom. It was moist and delicious.

Overpriced and overrated! I bought a slice of cheesecake here for $4.25. They seemed quite arrogant quoting their price. With the price being so high, and the nice presentation, I was expecting some 'wow'. I was NOT impressed with the taste. The cheesecake was very lacking in flavor, except for the tiny teaspoon of canned cherry topping. The crust had no crunch. Overall I was not satisfied, and I will never purchase a dessert from there again. I can get two slices of very good cheesecake in the frozen desserts section at Aldi's, for $2 cheaper or even make my own.

I thought that this was a real bakery but, I was wrong. The cakes are sub-par. If you want a real cake, meaning a real red velvet cake made with real cream cheese icing, real cocoa powder, cake flour, and real butter for example, don't go to this shop. The caramel cake was very dry also. I am going to try the bakery, "For The Love of Sugar" on 100 Erskine St. in Detroit. I see that they make REAL cakes.
