Asty Time - Detroit - Photo album

I'm Dominican American from NY and I missed the Dominican food from over there. When I moved here in Michigan it was hard to find good authentic Dominican food. This restaurant ended all my cravings. They made me feel like I'm back home in NY. I really recommend this restaurant if you want to try so
First time having Dominican food and I recommend it highly to anyone!! It has a very calm atmosphere, good music, clean and great service. The food was made with love and every bite was a treat. Glad to see such a place ran with passion! The chef was especially friendly and great. This is a must go
Loved the food, yummy with balanced flavors. Super welcoming environment and friendly owner. Definitely will be back with friends.
love the food. love the customer service. this was my first time here and first time trying Dominican food. i had the spicy shrimp with a sample of stew chicken and plantains. sooooo delicious! got a tip from the kitchen to try the combo of tostones, rice, and beans — amazing flavor and textures! i
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! :) All the reviews are right!!! Friendly family staff, clean atmosphere, clean bathrooms. The greens were fresh, tasty healthy fresh food. The plate presentation is beautiful. The chef came out to greet us and make sure we were enjoying everything. #MADEWITHLOVE
(Vegan reviewer) Absolutely loved this place! Felt like I was in the Dominican. They have two different choices for beans and rice - both are delicious and vegan d come with a small salad. You can have the fried plantains (salty) or the mashed plantains (sweet) as well. Not a huge menu, but they hav
Average quality Dominican food. My wife is from the Dominican republic, and I lived there for two years. It’s nice that there is a Dominican place in Detroit, but we rarely make a special trip to go there because the food is just average. But sometimes you just have to eat mofongo.
This restaurant is the truth! I was really full and still had some leftovers. The waitress we had was very friendly. Restaurant was clean! Some of the best chicharrón in Detroit, probably in the States, that I've personally had. It's not a "fast food" restaurant, so there will be a wait for the food
