Tasty food! We ordered some sides here for the Super Bowl and they were delicious! They even included a little cornbread and cranberries as a fun bonus. The collards were my favorite - perfectly flavorful and tender. I’m excited to try more things next time!

First time experience. Food was delicious. Chicken breast ,crispy & juicy. Greens tastefully seasoned but not salty. Yams, tender & well seasoned but not syrupy sweet. Cornbread - on point. The portions were generous and worth the money. Gonna try other items on the menu to see if everything is as good as the first meal. 👍 👍 👍

Well I just went in for the second time today trying to place an order since I was up there washing my clothes. I understand it's young kids in there but take my order first then go back to your conversation. Make a long story short I wanted soul food but didn't get it because it took the young lady over 5 mins to even address me. I settled for Hungry Howie's next door 🤷🏿🤦🏿😩.
Do the right Thing
Nothing worst than coming to a restaurant and they're closed, an hour before closing. You close at eight, you don't shut down at 7 so you can get out at eight! I try so hard to support black own businesses, but this is exactly why we're losing. Keep this up and you'll be closed permanently. They're plenty of restaurants that's still hungry and running their businesses professionally.

I called before we went to see if we could get a table; no one answered the phone. After going to the restaurant anyway at that point we found out it was carry out only. I wasn't sure how everyone else ordered that was waiting around. But it would have been over an hour to wait if we had ordered. So we politely kept it moving and ate somewhere else within that hour. Please answer the phone or have a recording informing customers. Thanks

Food is TRASH WILL NEVER return save your money and spend it with Me and My girls they are 10x better than this place! Used to be a go to but maybe the originator stopped or something because this is horrible! They think they’re serving animals now or something! Just NASTY!!! AWFUL!!!! If I could go no stars I would!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TASTE BUDS! This food will make you cry!!

Food was horrible ! The chicken tasted like it was from Popeyes. The Mac n cheese was stale and dry. Yams were hard like they wasn’t cooked long enough. Only thing good was the greens. The greens were extremely delicious!

Giving 4 stars because the pork chop are still the same and good but the dressing was bland and the greens were just ok. But I should of known that the $1 price for a slice of pound cake was suspicious it was horrible worst than box cake.
