Ordered off their website, I called the order in. 2 chicken shawarma combo sandwiches with fries, 1 fattoush salad with chicken. Picked up order it was $38.00 I asked how that could be your website says combo sandwiches $8.99 salad $10.99. Well asked what the the difference was for, he stated we raised our prices I just haven’t gotten around to updating the web page yet combos are now $10.99 each and salad is now $13.99. I asked him don’t you think that is something you should do right away, of course no answer just a look. Opened salad and this is all the bad lettuce and lettuce cores, this is in no way a salad that should cost $13.99. Well needless to say we will not be going back there.

May not look like much but the food is excellent! Huge portions for a very reasonable price. The owner was there and he was welcoming and happy to help with the unfamiliar menu items. Although we dined in, it is probably a great place for takeout.

Ordered carry-out. Bread was rock hard like it was missing an ingredient and over baked. Bummed they still gave it to us even though it was bad. Stuffed grape leaves were good. No salad dressing on the side, they add to salad for you, would have liked more because it was so light. Hummus had a different taste than what I’m used to. Will try again just to make sure it wasn’t an “off” night for them. Difficult to find a decent Mid-East cuisine on this side of town.

Ordered ahead and waited anyway. However, the food was good. Salad was fresh and the soup was hot. The place could use a deep clean. There is a lunch special posted. My food was 19.00, which is steep for lunch.

Food is good. But now I am very sick after eating the food. Intense gastrointestinal pain, terrible stool, bloating, and mild fever overshadows any of the positive feelings about the food. I won't be coming back after this visit. Cannot chance losing 24-48 hours to being sick from food.

Very tasty food here. Lunch deals are very reasonable and fresh all the time. You have to request the puffy bread. The employees are kind of flat however they get your orders correct.

If you enjoy burnt lamb, or beef then this is the grill for you. The grilled lamb sandwich was absolutely horrible. The meat was burnt, lacked seasoning, and non palatable.
I love lamb and cook it often. I will never patronize this restaurant again. Yuckkkkk.

Tried it for the first time and was a bit disappointed humous was too runny and flavorless and Sharma sandwiches were only average. Falafel was over cooked and okay at best. Definitely not worth going back. Cedar Garden is much better.

I’m a snob when it comes to middle eastern food & this place hits the spot every time. It’s affordable with generous portions. Definitely try the grape leaves sandwich and the vegetarian grape leaves sandwich. Salsa with bread are awesome. Love the lentil soup.

This used to be a great place with the best food ever, but has changed for the worst. Carry out orders always wrong, service very slow, and quality of food not so good anymore. Today I ordered koshary as I always do and all I got was a bowl full of spaghetti noodles, elbow noodles, about half a teaspoon of lentils and about 3 small onion slices. I threw the entire thing in the garbage. Called to let them know and they said maybe it was the end of the batch. No more Cleopatras for me!

This place has the best food and service!!! Carla is wonderful and very helpful with what to order and how much. We love coming here and will definitely recommend others to try it out too!

I asked for bread and the waitress said "oh you get bread and garlic sauce." I received neither with my order $17.98. The lid eas not tight. Soup sll over the inside of the bag. The raw juice was very good. 2 of tbe waitresses are very good including tbe new one. I came on Monday and service was very good. So Disappointed.

Just tried this place for dinner for the first time tonight (carry-out, Detroit/GPW location) and loved it. Service was great and food was super delicious. The complimentary bread and garlic was a plus!

Went to the Mack location tonight, I am definitely going back! Chicken kafta was the best I've had, shwarma was very good, bread so fresh it was hot, and that garlic spread!!! Terrific service and really wonderful food!

In regards to the restaurant in Michigan (23 mi & Gratiot). The food tastes good, but the quality of the meat is bad. Everyone I have talked to liked it at first, but if you like fat and grizzle, you will be happy. Just want you to know we (and everybody I know) have no plans on going back. Plus the lamb doesn't appear to be lamb. Just a FYI. If they decide to use quality food, I will go back, but till then... Cheers

Remembering why I swore to never come back. Expensive, small portions, stale bread, salad dressing like water, and wait staff spent entire time loudly bitching about customers. Customer Sam, for instance, apparently demands a straw with his beer, eats a "crud-ton" and "fuck-ton" of food. I've never experienced such disrespect at a restaurant. Oh, and 2 of 3 servers also work at Hungry Howies, so you "clueless" customers who ask for 10-piece wings but want 5 sauced one way and 5 the other-you really suck. Owner never comes out from back and when he does, he's totally disinterested.

Cleopatra is the GREATEST, and much emphasis on GREATEST, Mediterranean cuisine on the block!! The Shawarma is one of many great foods here! I highly recommend 10/10!
