My favorite place near Wayne State. Staff is super friendly, the best coffee in the world and a great place to sit down, grab the daily paper, read and relax!
a really pleasant little spot with friendly staff, good snacks, and hot coffee! moderately busy, but never loud.
Owner used to be an interior designer, and you can sense it from the store. Coffee is nice, not so busy, so it is a nice place to sit and work on your laptop. She has a variety of local artists' work in the store, so you can get to sit and admire those too. The brownies are really good!
Really delicious espresso and nice ambiance. While I waited for my drink I was able to walk around and look at artwork made by local artists and jewelers. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a simple, low-key coffee shop without the prestige of a Starbucks or Biggby.
I ordered the Mexico Chiapas bean in a pour over drip style of brew and it was the best cup of coffee I have ever had. Beautiful ambience too in this nice, clean cafe. And a very kind, welcoming staff.
