Strong recommendation. The food is phenomenal and the service was excellent. Our server recommended two perfectly balanced cocktails and the crab cake appetizer (the best in the city? yes, it is). The catfish and salmon were excellent: optimally seasoned, cooked exactly right to stay tender. And you might not think you should get the mac and cheese at a nice restaurant, but you should. Our server was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. Don't be thrown off by the entrance: it looks deserted from the outside, but the restaurant and its friendly staff are all upstairs. You won't be disappointed!

Once we got past the relatively inept and lackluster greeting by front of house staff, I was impressed with this place. Our waitress, Tiondra, was prompt and professional. I will say two words about the food: CRAB CAKE. Now I will pause in respectful homage to probably the best taste of anything I have ever had anywhere ever. Seriously. That crab cake is THAT good. And the margaritas slide gracefully into second with a bow and applause to the bartender who knows his stuff, too. All in all, a place I'd recommend and return to. (Thank you to my son and daughter for going first and raving ever after, prompting us to go, too. Good job, young'uns!)
