Great experience celebrating a friend’s birthday! My first time here but the birthday girl’s 100th visit. She loves it here. Loved the guacamole and chips. My friend had her favorite burger, cheese curds, and Brussel sprouts. Service was very nice and very accommodating. Menu had lots of amazing choices. Many things from gluten free options to seafood, and salads. Although lots of items with cheese/dairy. It would be challenging for a plant based patron to enjoy anythjng more than a side or salad. Would love to see a delicious crafted full plant based dish. Drink menu was large! My friends found their drinks very pleasing. Environment was loud and busy. I can see why everyone loves it here. Amazing patio setting and indoor seating. Comfy and inviting. Everything on the menu looked amazing. I look forward to come back to try a seafood dish.

Went here for my prom dinner and it was delicious! They had the most amazing mock tails and my had ginger beer which was amazing since I haven’t had any since my trip to the UK. The fish and chips were also delicious as well as my friends' salad which I tried a bit of. The service was amazing and we got sat immediately even though we were a little early for our reservation. Definitely will be coming again!

So I’m not a fan of leaving bad reviews but this needs to be said. I went to have a drink and get takeout. It was the start of their dinner rush so it was pretty busy so no complaints about service but the blackberry bramble I had tasted like cough syrup and I ordered a cheese plate to go and it the cheeses were an inch thick and very disappointing for $22

The result of a spur of the moment date night destination, we tried Louie’s for dinner. They were completely booked and we did not have reservations, but they were able to find us space at the bar. Despite the full venue, it felt cozy rather than crowded which was wonderful. Megan (I didn’t catch the spelling, so I apologize if this is incorrect) served us and she was absolutely PHENOMENAL. I mean, they were filled to the brim and she still went out of her way to be proactive and attentive to our needs. Perfect amount of interaction—friendly, and even though we were at the bar we never felt like she was hovering—and fabulous service. We ordered a feature soup, but when it wasn’t what we expected (nothing wrong with the preparation, just different flavours than we were wanting) and she didn’t hesitate to remove it from our ticket. Completely unexpected, I was sincerely impressed. Her service definitely made our night special. While the service was the highlight of our evening, I also need to note that they are super gluten-free friendly. The sheer variety was a special treat for us (not having to sacrifice on flavour, etc. due to dietary restrictions). Overall, fantastic experience and will undoubtedly be repeat customers. Don’t bother ordering takeout here. My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for years and finally decided to give it a go. They told us our food would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I showed up 20 minutes later, and was told by the very nice hostess that it wasn’t ready and would be another 15-20 minutes. No problem, they were busy. Fast forward to 45 minutes and several check-ins later, and the order was finally ready. But guess what, 3 of the 4 items we ordered were stone cold before I even left the restaurant. I assume some of the order must have been sitting waiting for the final piece for much of that 45 minutes. Not impressed, and we likely won’t be going back here again.
