We had our first takeout experience at Mattiello’s and the food was excellent! We ordered the roasted chicken breast, squid ink pasta, and the sausage and onion pizza. Every dish was unique and the flavors were authentic. The chef doesn’t rely on loads of cheese and salt to flavor the dishes - there is real flavor here. The sauce on the roasted chicken was so good and the mashed potatoes were very creamy. The pizza was thin and crispy. The squid ink pasta was beautiful and delicious! Until recently it was hard to find good Italian food in this area and we’re so happy that Mattiello’s is here now. We will be back!

Another wonderful experience at Mattiello’s. This family’s regional Italian cuisine always delights. A gem in Denver that needs to be experienced for a true taste of Italy. Tonight’s main course special was a peppercorn steak served with thin cut fries and an amazing peppercorn sauce. Delicious!!!

Had a very nice, simple, well made dinner here last weekend. The decor is spartan but nice. The service was excellent. But the food was fantastic - very well made and tasted great. We had the Caprese (small but good, the Lasagna (amazing), and a salmon dish. We will be back here often. I would recommend this place very highly.

Fresh ripe tomatoes, mozzarella and basil. Super grilled salmon, asparagus and risotto. Followed by gelato. Good Italian wine choices. Amarone was amazing. Family owned and operated. Whole experience was A plus!

Great little place for some up-scale Italian food. We have our go-to menu items. I really like the Pork Marsala with the creamiest mash potatoes I've ever had. My wife always gets the Salmon Farfala. And I hope they bring back the specialty crab cake appetizer again it was awesome the last time we had it!

We visited the evening of 3/7 and I wasn’t really sure what to expect based on the reviews. Our dinner was amazing! I had the carbonara, my husband had the lasagna (Sicilian so don’t expect meaty sauce) and our friend got the ragu. They make some of the pasta in house and you can really taste it. We enjoyed a bottle of wine as well and really enjoyed the dinner. The chef came out and introduced himself, his son and daughter were our wait staff so it’s a family business which I hope can be successful. I honestly have no complaints and will definitely be back. I’ll be posting this review on their other google site. For some reason they have more than one google page.

Thé wait staff was great! The appetizers were really good: fried calamari, caprese salad and bruschetta. Ordered the ragu. The pasta was good, but the sauce was bland. The ground beef was all I could taste. The rest of my party agreed they need to work on their red sauce. Not much flavor. My husband is Italian so we know sauce.
