Really delicious, and authentic Chinese food! If you’re looking for classic Chinese-American takeout this is not the place for you. This place serves hand-pulled noodles, and regional dishes. It’s mainly comfort food and maybe food /flavors you might not be immediately used to if you’re not familiar with typical Asian cuisine.
Flavors are really nice, packed with aroma. The skewers we tried were enjoyable, especially the lamb. The sour potato side is savory, and a fresh take on a classic Chinese sidedish.
We also had the lamb bone broth soup, twice cooked pork, and shenzhen noodles. All were really great! The noodles have good bounce & chew, and you can tell they’re hand pulled by the size variations.
The only star knockdown would be for overall value of items in terms of price for some things.
This place is very unique in the Denver area, not sure there is anywhere else that serves this cuisine in Colorado. I got the sesame sauce noodles and then decided to try something I’ve never had before; chicken hearts. Man, those were amazing. They had excellent flavor and were quite addictive actually. The noodles were great as well. Definitely returning to try something else off the menu. What a hidden gem this place is!
Great! North of China style, love it so much! Every month at least come here 1 time. Highly recommended! Mr hao is my favorite Chinese BBQ place in Denver❤️❤️❤️
I also like their non-grill delicacies quite a bit. Besides being delicious, it was quite amazed to find authentic Chinese dishes like these in Denver.
The chicken delight and shanxi speciality noodle is awesome!!! Highly recommend!

Loved this place! The skewers are amazing and can get super spicy if you like. We tried the mild and got one super hot and it was just that. The food is great staff is nice. Be sure to read the menu, they do have some "unique" items. Give this place a try it was totally worth it can't wait to go back again.
The food is exclent, just know English is the second language for most of the staff. But the menu has English and they have pictures.
Authentic lamb skewers grilled to perfection with cumin and other spices. Wood ear mushrooms in garlic sauce is also great with a tangy coolness that will cleanse your palate between smoky skewers. Chicken hearts were a bit tough, however. We saw other patrons enjoying double-cooked pork (similar to sweet and sour pork), which looked just like what we used to get in Dongbei (Northeastern) cuisine restaurants in China. Small but clean dinning areas and friendly service. Will definitely go back!
Decided to stop by and do a to go order since it's around the corner from the office. Right off the bat, the inside looks really clean and cozy. Very welcoming and traditional. Ordered an order of pork buns and skewers of lamb extra spicy. Food was great and full of flavor. Definitely coming back. The food can be a bit pricey for the amount of food you get but it evens out just based on the quality of the meat you're getting.
A nice place to hand out with friends. Good food!
