Review Cafe Cafe - Denver

Neighborhood place to have coffee, breakfast, smoothies. Come hungry because the portions are big and delicious. Their pancakes and waffles are amazing. Waffle was crips, fluffy and just sweet enough. Maple syrup was organic as was the regular coffee. Parking can be a challenge since it’s really just off the street parking. Service was prompt and friendly too.

Been going to Sunny’s for years now. Had not been in quite while. Was there today 11/19. Wow. The sandwich that’s sandwiched between two grill cheese sandwiches with an egg and chorizo Pattie wow. Simply wow. Good stuff. Also had the 2 and 2. 2 pancakes, with 3 eggs and bacon. Everything was really tasty. Got a cappuccino and a cup of coffee. Server was really friendly and attentive.

Classic breakfast/brunch spot. Nice atmosphere and good service. The food was very tasty and the portions were large. The chocolate chip pancakes were great.

A well kept secret that got let out of the bag. It’s a cute neighborhood spot with plenty of charm. The food is delicious though not as large as I was led to believe from some reviews here. Still easily filled us up.

I would highly recommend this small business because the food is delicious! The best gluten-free pancakes or waffles substituted for any of them. I had the gluten-free lemon, blueberries, whipped cream, and syrup. Then the potato wedges are large and tasty with eggs over easy. Would I recommend this restaurant absolutely!

Kind of mad I just went here for the first time after living in area for 4 years. True, not a place for drinky brunch, but the food was amazing. It is like finding that magical random diner when on a road trip. I need to go back for my planned meal (good night sausage pepper egg sandwich), but the special that day was bacon white cheddar green chile scramble and it was off the hook. NEXT VISIT: What a quiet, small place you shouldn't be overlooking. Be aware that it isn't a booze-serving place, but the food is worth it regardless. It was my second time, and I had to get something off the menu (first time, I got the special). Well, I had to talk myself into NOT getting the special this day too, as it looked great and a pic of the description is below. I received fantastic service from Desiree and team. I asked her recommendations and went with the skillet. Solid dish. Limited amount of tables, and it has been busy each time I go, so get there early. I already have pegged my next two dishes when coming back...the sausage and pepper egg sandwich and the Good Night grilled cheese thing. The Boss also reads great. Their hot sauce is a combo hot sauce, and ask for a bottle. The iced tea was delicious and unique tasting. I definitely recommend and see you there.

Sunny’s has some of the best breakfast in the neighborhood. My new favorite is the Aji Benedict. The service is incredible, they’re warm and friendly and always want to make sure you have an amazing experience. They are able to accommodate with gluten free options including pancakes and toast. I came on Christmas Eve and our amazing server sent us home with some homemade Christmas cookies. Whoever left a one star review for Sunny’s shouldn’t be allowed to eat out at restaurants.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm very glad we tried this place out. Yes, it is small, and it can get loud, and when we left, there was a line out the door, but the food made it worth it. My husband had the skillet, and he said it tasted great. I HAD to try the Goodnight, and it's now my new favorite. I mean, eggs, chorizo, avocado, and tomatoes sandwiched between two grilled cheeses!? 😋 AMAZING! Had to eat with a fork and knife. It was so thick but so worth it! The mocha was alright, needed to add a little sugar, but the pancakes were fluffy and great with syrup.

Sunday morning comes around and all I have on my brain is pancakes and sausage. This place hit the spot! The housemade sausage was delicious and the pancakes were large, fluffy, and made perfectly golden. We enjoyed the potatoes and crispy bacon as well. The huevos rancheros was just ok, mostly because we didn’t expect it to be served in a burrito so that was a little messy to eat. All the ingredients are really fresh and well made. Coffee was really good and came super HOT. The wait was just 20 minutes this morning. Thanks for a great meal!

Very cute café. We brought our dog since it's dog friendly. Our food was fantastic.

We were looking for a local place for breakfast after getting up at the crack of dawn to stand in line for tamales. We Siri'd and FB'd this place, it had good reviews, so we stopped. We are glad we did! My wife ordered the cannoli waffle and I ordered the roasted veggie latkes. Both were so, so good. Big portions, great coffee (Daz Bog), good service, good menu. The place is small with maybe 15-20 or so tables. The food is organic, where possible, so a little more expensive. The vegetarian options are limited. They offer gluten-free pancakes and gluten-free bread for an up charge. I will not order the GF bread again; totally not worth it. We enjoyed our experience so much we went back a few days later.

So, there was something about this place that makes me think of it every time it’s cold in California. We went there on a recent trip. The service was mediocre, but the food was not only great, it was special—different than your typical breakfast place. The atmosphere was simple, cozy, and warm, which was very comforting on a cold Denver morning.

My first visit was fun, food was terrific and the staff are sweet and attentive. There was no waiting at 8:30am Tuesday morning. Loved the Latkes, bottomless cup of coffee. I look forward to making this spot a habit.

Great little place. It's small so not great for big groups, but great service and food. Get there before 9:30 on weekends and there's not much wait, if any.
