I had a good experience with Child's. We ordered a birthday cake that I wanted to be something I couldn't do, since I wasn't making it... Definitely the decoration of the cake was pretty amazing. They didn't use fondant - they airbrush the frosting. They made it a 3D dolphin coming out of the water. It was incredibly realistic looking. This is not some schlocky operation making some crazy looking cakes! I had low expectations of the cake itself, but it was very good - it was chocolate with raspberry filling, and was actually moist and very good. I would recommend Child's for a special cake for any occasion.
