Surprisingly good for a little Denver strip-mall place, and when it changed management, it actually got a little better.

I grew up eating Mexican food, the food and the service is excellent. To bad it has been sold the new owners need a little lesson in the quality.of customer service. Also adding a little more spices to the food, or maybe they did it for people that can't handle the heat. LOL. I would still recommend this restaurant.

Nice little place. Not at the extreme high or low ends as far as price goes. The food was very tasty. I had a bean and carne asada burrito for $6.50. No extra charge for lettuce or tomatoes. The green chili was very flavorful. The refried beans tasted homemade. My wife loved the chili relleno. And as a plus, they offered roasted jalapeños for only 50¢ for two. Small place, very nicely decorated, with a little cantina bar inside.

I really like this restaurant. It is pretty good Mexican food, especially for the price. I really love the sopapillas they are amazing, and my friend loves the flan that they serve. They margaritas aren't half bad either.

we stopped in after a long and exhausting day. it was not busy and we were promptly greeted. We just stopped in on the way home to get some take out on the way home. We ordered and the owner gave us his recommendations. We were offered a drink while we waited. Sat and talked with the owner who was very genuine on wanting to get to know his clients and take care of them. We took the food home and it was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great restaurant. You can get lunch from the lunch special menu for ~$10.00 (drink and tip included). Or you can order from the regular menu and it is a little more expensive but the plates are bigger. As other posters have mentioned, the breakfast burritos are great and only $1.99 ($1.00 more if you add meat). Google has the wrong location. This restaurant is off South Union Boulevard, not Colfax.
