...posted while sober... Haha! This place is a great local tradition that I hope stays around forever! Great selection of drinks-and if not sure-ask the bartender to make something delicious! Check the place out yourself, but I am sure you won't be disappointed at this vintage joint.
Love this bar. It was my second time here, and both times, it's been fun. This night was a burlesque show that was well worth the $15 cover. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in Denver.
As the Pabst sign bleeds its lurid color, like the inscription over the gates of hell, while the droning harmonics of a cover band; this place gives off the spirit of the seed of creation where all good bands spring forth. Really great dive bar, wish I could go back...
What can I say? If you lived in Denver for any time since 1966, you know. And if you can say "no, I don't know", fix that statement. It's a one and only bar and nothing can compare. Trust me.

Killer dive, cheap drinks, wild music venue and great staff. My band has played here a few times and we have an absolute blast every time. The crowds are fun and the sound is loud. Always a trip at the Lion’s Lair
Super dive bar on Colfax. Great servers, well-made drinks. Went for a bi-monthly cabaret night and it was way better than I expected. Performers were unique and fun to watch. Set ground rules and then made it a fun night for everyone. Will be going back.

Cool venue with friendly staff. Drinks are affordable and the parking wasn't too bad either. Also owned by the same guy that owns the ogden. Saw some dope bands there. There is a photo booth. Definitely want to go again or make it a spot. AND right next to EOD, where I got my first tattoo.

What can I say? It is a Colfax gem. Best dive bar in Denver for the local artists to perfect their craft. I LOVE, LOVE THIS JOINT! Come catch me honing in on my Stage Legs on Monday nights!

A great Colfax dive. Try the root beer barrel, it's better than you think.
Came here with some friends. The prices were right. About what we expected. The bartenders were super friendly. It was open mic night. My only complaint was the volume for the performers was a little too loud for it being a bar and not a venue.
Saw a burlesque show here. The bar tenders are super lovely and the vibe is definitely a local dive. Loved it.

Classic Denver Punk, and Rockabilly bar. One of my favorite places for consistently good live music. It's right in the heart of Colfax, so there are lots of fun places to go with in walking distance. This is a very fun part of town.
