Capitol Hill Tavern - Denver - Photo album

This place is a bit hidden. I went here for a group happy hour. We had one server assigned to the room of about 20, I think he was stretched a little thin but he tried his best. I had an old fashioned, it was good, not too sweet or too strong, I would order it again. I also had a chicken quesadilla.
Visiting from Phoenix and had a great experience. The drinks were tasty and there was a lot of selection. The bartender and server were both very friendly. This place is located in a really cute neighborhood and there's lots of parking nearby. Definitely recommend!
Great local place. Great bar tenders and local beer. Nice place to get together with friends.
I've been several times now. Their burgers are great. Fries really good. I didn't care for the one salad I had there; i prefer spinach to whatever the green was in this one. They have a good red blend wine on tap. Served cold-ish.
Place is great! Been here several times it’s never overwhelming. The food is great! And you can likely play a game of shut the box with some local patrons! Cap hill tavern has the small town tavern vibe in a city trendy tacos and other bs.
Great pizza, great beer selection. If you're looking for a great neighborhood bar in Cap Hill then this is your place. Service is excellent and so is the food. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning here.
Comfortable vibe, good drinks and food a nice price. Service has typically been top notch. A happy hour fave with selective but delicious choices from their menu. Solid 4 stars base on the price/quality/selection scale.
The waiter was friendly and on top of things. I had a calzone and it was good. My Mom enjoyed her cheeseburger and fries. She liked the kick of pepper on the fries.
The restaurant is not that clean and the service is not that good. The food is good, there is live music and the ambiance is comfortable. I ordered a burger and it's very juicy and tasty. All in all, I'm having a good time and will come back.
The food was seriously .. Perfect. This place is the old Oglios .. Which already had really good food. The kitchen must not have changed, except for improving. Wings and Stromboli on the happy hour menu. Highly recommend. And it's such a cool location, building. If you haven't been, you won't be dis
Found Capitol Hill Tavern while searching for a brunch spot on Sunday morning. They had a nice little drink special going on with $2.50 mimosas and $4.50 bloody's. Ordered up some wings and a breakfast quesadilla and was not disappointed. Server was super friendly.
Cap Hill Tavern is a neighborhood gem staffed by super chill people. They have decent beers, great Italian food, dim lighting and oldschool furniture that gives it a very dated style (in a good way). Also a rentable back room perfect for small events. I like this place a little too much!
Very lively and fun bar, Lance looked after us very well, knowing just when we wanted another drink! Great wings and pizza. Clean and tidy facilities. Very friendly locals.
They have a great backroom for a party! But the staff seems overextended to worry about bringing drinks back to you if you do book a party for that. My friends enjoyed the fried pickles.
Great pace to watch the game. Usually just went for drinks but they have a awesome menu. Ice Cream and Giant Cookie is a great Group dessert!
