Not a bad breakfast/lunch spot. I mostly grab lunch here. Sandwiches are pricey ($9 a pop) but pretty good, and not skimpy on the fixings. Coffee is also pretty good - not stellar but tasty. These folks are generally friendly and fast - it's rarely busy. Short walk from my office so it has the convenient factor. Nothing spectacular but worth grabbing some chow/java at if you're in the area looking for a spot.
Showed up at Mattina's Cafe for a meeting and left with a brownie that was every bit as good as my Mom's (she was a baker.) I don't say this lightly, they're perfect! If you like the corner pieces, request one. They're heavenly! A dash of cinnamon has been added to the ingredients and it really compliments this gem of a find. I can't wait to grab another one along with some Haagen Dazs vanilla and call it a night.
Mattina is right next to my office so I'm here pretty frequently; probably once or twice a week. But the proximity isn't what keeps me coming back—it's the friendliness of the staff, the high quality of the coffee and food, and the relaxing environment it has to offer. I change up my order every now and then and I am always happy with the drinks, especially when Victoria is the one making them! I have yet to try one of their breakfast burritos but I keep hearing they're amazing from my coworkers, so I recommend that as well :) If you're looking for a charming place to grab coffee and/or a sandwich in downtown Denver near Coors field, this is the spot!
This place is a hidden gem! Everything I have ever had there has been top notch. Excellent coffee, lattes, sandwiches, salads, cookies, breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches. The house latte is a personal favorite. If you are some stuck up hipster coffee snob this isn't your place. There are plenty of those in Denver for you. If you like good quality eats and drinks at a super fair price this IS the place for you. Also the owner and staff are just the best!!!
Went in for a Turkish coffee and breakfast burrito. The burrito is filled to the brim with great tasting ingredients and damn tasty green chili. The tortilla is grilled slightly in the outside giving it a very pleasing texture, reminds me of the Döner kebab bread I would get at Turkish restaurants in Germany. Server Nadine was fantastic as well :)
I could not believe how lightning fast this order came! Before the Grubhub estimated delivery time I had received my food, eaten it, and was trying to figure out how to leave a positive review. I was excited to find a place that delivers breakfast, that was a nice treat and that the food was delicious was the icing on the cake!
My only comment would be that they clarify their menu a little bit. In Colorado when you order a breakfast burrito with green chili, you generally expect something that is smothered in green chili, not something that has a small amount inside a dry foil wrapped burrito. Minor confusion, I still enjoyed the food a great deal

Good coffee options and even food options, delicious! Had an enjoyable experience here. The staff is friendly and hospitable to your needs. You feel welcomed and you feel like you got your money's worth. Good bang for the buck. Highly recommend to my friends, A+++++
Great spot for a quick morning coffee, tasty breakfast or lunch - the blackened chicken sandwich is my favorite. Nice daily food specials to keep the menu interesting too! 5 stars for service as well; Lori is always very pleasant and accommodating!
I had a drip cup of joe that went down smooth without sugar or cream. Exceptional. The breakfast sandwich was made to order and included authentic chorizo. This is a unique place and will be visited again.
A hidden gem in Denver for great food and coffee. The gentlemen behind the counter was polite and experienced as he guided me through the menu. I went with the classic Italian which was fantastic. Awesome location and friendly staff make this place great.
One of our favorite local coffee shops. The new owner is extremely friendly and helpful. They always treat us like family. The coffee is aromatic and delicious and the food is extremely tasty.
