Friend said Sesame Chicken was good, but he's had better as it wasn't crisp on outside. My Panang Curry was good but a Thai restaurant would make it better. The only dining area is outside on metal tables and chairs.
We, and an UberEats driver, had to wait longer than expected to get food, but not by a lot.
Eventhough I paid in cash, no receipt was offered, didn't need it, but it could be important to some.
Hands down my favorite Chinese takeout spot in Denver, and I've ordered from SEVERAL. Their cheese wonton are the BEST I've ever had in the city. My go-to orders are Sesame Tofu with lomein or Sesame chicken with fried rice. DELICIOUS every time!
Sweet Rice Cafe has a large variety of Chinese dishes. There is no dining area, so your choices are; pick up (which is quicker) or delivery.
Great takeout Chinese. We love the wonton soup and the Singapore noodles. The mushu pork is always just right. The people are friendly. The one time that an order was delivered wrong, they were very kind and made it right. This is a great little option for casual and classic takeout Chinese. Don’t hesitate.
This is my go to spot when I’m craving some delicious fried rice!
Sweet rice is another classic neighborhood gem! There's nothing like a little spicy shrimp fried rice to fill that belly. A regular go to take out joint for the family!
My food is always made fresh with lots of flavor. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious! You will not be disappointed.
Easily one of the best places in Denver to get Orange chicken. I love this spot! The entire menu is good, and the portions are insane
I really wanted to like the food here. I've only tried it once, so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt, but I might drop this to three stars if I can't find the gems of the menu. It's a close, fast, convenient neighborhood spot. Staff was friendly when I picked up my order, which was reasonably priced, but the food was hit or miss. I tried the vegetable egg rolls, scallion pancakes, chicken lo mein, and sesame chicken.
The egg rolls and scallion pancakes were great! I would definitely order them again. The lo mein was pretty standard. I've had better, and probably wouldn't order it again. The sesame chicken was a bit odd to me, a departure from the traditionally, perhaps stereotypical sticky-sweet dish you'd find at most places. It was a lot tangier and tasted of vinegar. The actual flavor was not bad, but I found the texture and color unpleasant, which seems to be a common complaint within these reviews. If you order from here, maybe skip the breaded chicken dishes until they change it up. (The chicken in the lo mein was perfectly fine.)
When I compare this to my go-to spot, the food just doesn't compete, even though I really want it to. I'll return at some point to try some different dishes and update my review.
The food was great much better than expected I'll be coming back
