The Monkey Barrel - Denver - Photo album

Come for the burger, stay for the comedy! I love doing stand up comedy at Monkey Barrel every Thursday with Pallet City Comedy. The bartenders are attentive and quick. The burgers are delicious, beverage selection on point and big laughs every week from Denver’s best comedians! Thank you Monkey Barr
Great bar, immaculate vibes. The bartenders here are fantastic at their jobs and give the proper respect to each and every customer. (Especially Maya & Raquel). Best burger in the Sunnyside area and it’s not even up for debate!
Friendly staff, amazing food! Always a joy to visit and get one of the best burgers in town. They also host an open mic Thursday nights at 7:30 and sometimes have sponsors giving out free samples and merch! Lots to enjoy, definitely worth checking out!
A massive patio that is dog friendly, an very well chosen list of draft beers, booths with N64, lots of TVs to watch your favorite game, super fun ambiance and very friendly staff. Love that it both a chill spot as well as lively in the evenings and host numerous events. Definitely a hidden gem in D
Full of pop-culture references, vintage video games and Beastie Boys artwork and music, Monkey Barrel is a fun place to spend a few hours! All of the bartenders were fast, friendly, and efficient. The food is also very reasonably priced, though not gourmet. I ordered the $5 "Mikey D" burger which wa
We have seen multiple live shows here, great food, reasonably prices drinks, and a great location with plenty of street parking. I hate going downtown for concerts where there is zero parking or only pay parking. This place is great!
I brought a group of 30 and there was a party of twenty. Raquel had our tables reserved and both parties had enough space. We ordered at the bar and our food came out fresh and fast, delivered to our table. The video games and pinball machines were nice.
Great atmosphere! The memorabilia all over the walls is great. There are also MANY games including Nintendo 64 and Playstation at some of the tables for free, and about 12 pinball machines. The outside patio is also nice and spacious, perfect for bringing a four legged friend.
Absolutely loved this place.... From Brandi who was both waitress and bartender to the overall atmosphere.... I loved the menu items, named after rock bands.... the food was very good and they have various themed activities planned for the next few weeks/months....
A classic neighborhood dive. The food menu is small but I’ve never had something i didn’t like and they have good specials. You can’t beat $6 for a good burger and their reasonable drink prices. My favorites are the cheese burger and the boneless wings. The staff is always super friendly and nice. T
Very good food. Servers here go above and beyond to provide great service. The art and music in this establishment are off the chain!! Sometimes they even have live bands playing on weekends. I highly recommend this Monkey Barrel.
Games, drinks and great food if you thought that was all. They have Nintendo 64s to play at your booth or over ten pinball machines. I have fun with family and can get slashed with friends. What a place to be, hope you enjoy it too.
Solid 5 stars for Monkey Barrel. What a cool spot. Don’t come here expecting much. By the looks of it The Monkey Barrel is divey. The Burgers and Nashville Hot chicken sandwich are really delicious. The beer selection looked decent and the cocktail are great. Service was on point for a super busy Fr
