There's probably 3 other Chinese restaurants closer to me all pretty good, Li's is a little out of my way but my new favorite spot in Denver.
Excellent delivery service and speed to order.
Food fairly priced, good portions and tastes great!
Husband and I are vegan and gluten free, we’ve enjoyed a variety of excellent meals from Li’s Asian Bistro since we moved to the area a year ago. They are very accommodating for our allergies. The food is delicious! The portions & prices are good too.
I have no experience with the delivery portion of Li’s, but my family has been dining here in person for many years (perhaps since 2012? Can’t remember when they opened) and the food is always great to the point that we would go several times a week when we lived downtown. Now that we’re farther out of Denver, we still make a trip downtown a few times a month to enjoy the food. They are very veggie friendly, offering to turn any dish into a vegetarian one, which is impressive. We go to other Asian restaurants occasionally and still prefer the food at Li’s
Li's Asian Bistro is my go to place if I want to order any type of takeout. They have a lot of options, great portion sizes and great prices. I'm vegetarian and my partner is vegan. They have plenty of options for both of us to eat so we still get to enjoy the taste of our favorite Asian dishes without meat. The family that owns the shop is lovely and when I order pick up they always have my order ready within 15 minutes. Definitely try their pad tai and crispy egg rolls. Will continue to enjoy Li's Asian Bistro!
Pleasantly surprised by this place. Tucked away in a little strip mall, I let my first impressions get the best of me for awhile before finally stopping in.
I'm a picky Chinese food eater, and have come to find that the large majority of places in town all taste the same, all look alike, and are all basically the same low-quality food. MSG galore sort of thing.
Li's was different.
The food was flavorful, and not just MSG-covered slop.
I loved their fried rice, and their noodles were great.
The staff was polite and quick, and I was able to sit and drink my beer while I waited in peace while reading for 15 minutes.
Will be back, I liked it quite a bit.
I've ordered from Li's numerous times and have always had great service. Friendly and delicious food. I enjoy the takeout and it's usually ready quick. My favorites are sweet and sour chicken combo with fried rice and the lo mein.
The food was what I expected ordering out from a Chinese restaurant. I appreciated that the sweet and sour sauce was packaged separate from the chicken, because the chicken didn't arrive soggy. The crab and cheese wontons were excellent!! I also enjoyed the coconut chicken soup, but just an fyi for anyone who loves spicy food, the soup may have only had a hint of spice to it. I'm pretty sensitive to spicy food and I wished it was spicier.
Overall, I would order from this establishment again! The food was good, the delivery man was nice, and it arrived before the estimated arrival time.
I order from Li's 1-2 times a month, so about 30 times now. One time, the food was late and the bag had toppled over in the guy's car or something because the bag was dripping and all the food was mixed together in the bottom of the bag. About three times, they forgot the rice... and on three different occasions the wontons were soggy. These events occurred more than 6 months ago. Other then that, The food has been super good, well above par. I complained once and received a big discount so the service running proper as well. One bad experience isn't enough to write an accurate review. They give 110% about 80% of the time which is 4 stars in my opinion.
I get take out here regularly as I work just across the street. Thier steamed pot stickers are delicious! I also get the spicy edamame and the golden tofu. I have never had something here that I didn't LOVE. They are also extremely fast. I typically order online and walk to the store within 10 minutes and they always have it ready for me! Thanks, Li's!
The green chicken curry is awesome! I'm pretty picky when it comes to Thai food. My experience in the past has been that getting green curry chicken in a non-Thai restaurant is not a good idea, but Li's nails it. So good, and huge portions also. And it's cheap. Come on, what more can you ask for. They give you tons of the sauce, which is my favorite. And the woman that works there, not sure if she's the owner is very nice.
