My girlfriend and I took the bus all the way from boulder to check out this place in out Denver dining out passbook. It took us two hours to get there and it was worth ever minute. The food was fresh and we were able to adjust the spiciness in our dishes. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions on the menu. We already can't wait to go back and try some more food!

New to the area, have eaten at lucky cat a few times and have not been disappointed, the chefs are on point!!! The atmosphere is nice, the lunch special prices are great and happy hour is fabulous! I think so far my favorite is the steamed fish, I also love the brussel sprouts and ribs. Everything is very fresh tasting and I have yet to have a bad experience there. Keep up the great work guys!!!! I look forward to going back!

Original, attentive and refreshing. Lucky cat is a gem. The chef actually came out and sat with the people at the next table to discuss their order because the young lady had gluten issues. After our meal he came out to see how we enjoyed ours! I just wish I had come hungrier because there were so many things i would have liked to have tried. But everything we did order was fantastic.

My wife and I love to eat. We usually try a new place every week, their food is literally mouth watering (Pavlov's dog). Any one of their Ramen is hands down our favorite. If you're going for the first time, brussel sprouts and breaded shrimp for an appetizer; reasonably priced. The only down side is that your have to compare the rest of your meals to it, no joke. Enjoy!

EDITED: On Saturday, we gave Lucky Cat another shot and boy, are we glad we did. Chef Brent (who is also the GM) went above and beyond to make things right for us. We were having difficulty selecting from the number of amazing-sounding dishes, so Chef suggested that we lose the menus and trust his judgment on what to order. His selections were spot on! Our favorites included the Chinese Style Spareribs, Bao Buns (can't go wrong with any of them - we tried three and they were all excellent), the Crispy Spicy Tuna Roll, and the Cantonese Style Steamed Fish. The fish and spare ribs were especially amazing (I could slurp that fish broth all day!). The cocktails were also unique and delicious, and the staff was excellent - very well-versed on the menu items and very attentive. I would highly recommend a visit, and we can't wait to return. Make sure to ask the Chef for his recommendations! PREVIOUS REVIEW: Tonight (Saturday), we drove 30 minutes from Parker to visit Lucky Cat because we are avid fans of Troy Guard's restaurants. We arrived just before 8:15pm. When we tried to enter the restaurant, all three doors were locked, even though the posted closing time was 9:15pm and a number of people were dining inside. Another couple and my husband and I stood outside looking in, and no one came to the door to provide us with an explanation for the closure. I eventually called the restaurant, and they told me they "already locked the doors" and that they closed early because they were having a slow night. How disappointing! We won't make an effort to return, particularly if they aren't guaranteed to be open. This is definitely not characteristic of Troy Guard's restaurants.

They don't show levels of spice on the menu so my mom unknowingly ordered their hottest dish (orange chicken) and our server insisted on bringing her a replacement of her choosing. It was all delicious and we appreciated such great customer service.

This is just yummy. I want to marry the rock shrimp appetizer. Not expensive, and the quality is not inexpensive. Love the chefs counter too. Chef, I want in on the ground floor when you go beyond Lowery, just wish you could have an airplane as your back drop.

Delicious! Loved the spare ribs. Bbq bao bun was great! I got the sweet and sour spicy pork, loved it! And the language barrier cocktail was really really good!

Place opened by me months ago and I'm regretting just coming in for the first time tonight. Excellent service from Joey and the food was amazing. Wife and I both got the pork shoulder Ramen and I think it will just be my go to when it starts snowing.
