Habesha Restaurant - Denver - Photo album

BEST Ethiopian food in Denver. I’ve been coming here for over 15 years. I’ve been to every other Ethiopian restaurant on Colfax and this place is by far the best. The prices cannot be beaten and the food tastes BETTER too! The owner and cooks are so kind and say hello every time I come in. If you’re
Positively delightful! It was my first time trying Ethiopian cuisine and our server was friendly and patient with us. Highly recommend the meat and vegetable sampler. It could easily feed 3-4 people. We had the plantains for an appetizer, best plantains I’ve ever had! Also tried the honey wine - I w
Portions that don't disappoint and staff that goes above and beyond – that's what awaits you at this restaurant. The food is exceptional, and the portion sizes are spot-on for a satisfying meal. The staff's warmth and attentiveness create a dining experience that's memorable from start to finish.
Best Ethiopian food in town. Their green beans and salad and injera are out of this world. So is everything I’ve had here. Great service, big portions, fair prices. I love this place!
This was our first time trying traditional Ethiopian food and it was amazing. The restaurant is decorated with traditional pictures and paintings giving it the motherland feel. The gentleman and lady who served us were very kind and courteous. The aroma coming from the kitchen made our mouths water.
First time trying Ethiopian. The food was delicious and there were many vegetarian options. I had the vegetable combination with five samplers: Gomen, Yemisir Wot, Fosolia Green Beans, Kik Alicha and Atkilt Wot served on a bed of Injera. The server was very friendly and patiently explained all the d
One of the best Mediterranean spots in Denver. The lunch lamb shawarma plate is so generous and delicious. The mean was perfectly cooked. Everything so flavorful. The staff is nice and attentive. I asked them to swap the tzatziki sauce for toum and they happily obliged with no up charge. Great price
We showed up pretty late and the restaurant was technically closed. Usually any restaurant would restrict their service after closing time but the owner of this place was so kind that she made fresh injera’s and served us food. Kindness and faith in humanity restored. The food is extremely deliciou
Decent food but gluten free people beware. I ordered take out and ordered gluten free injera. But I was given a mix of gluten as well as gluten free bread (the gluten free injera is much darker than the one w wheat). When i called to ask why I received both colors, the woman confirmed that the light
First time trying Ethiopian food and it was an amazing experience! Very similar to Indian food and has lots of excellent vegetarian options. Four of us got 2 vegetarian samplers that was a combo of 7 dishes because we wanted to try all of the vegetarian options. Can easily feed a family of 5 or 6 th
VERY generous portion! They didn't give salad to start with unlike all the other ethiopian places I have been to but I would rather have more food than the salad. Would definitely visit again.
The restaurant owner called me to confirm my crazy order online. I had ordered way too much food, he was like, "Is all this food for you?" And I'm like, "I'm just hungry, hurry....send injera and tea." I'm really glad they confirm my order because I got exactly what I wanted to eat and really enjo
Got a lot of Ethiopian beers! Lots of tables Lots of veggies options! Delicious. The menu has a great passage on the history of Abyssinian heritage. You can host a wedding here because they have a stage!
