We stopped in for a quick bite and the hotdogs very good and the prices are good too. The hotdog had snap and they have lots of different topping options to try. Average size, not to filling but just right. There is a nice large outdoor patio.

Top tier customer service. Greeted immediately and the hostess/cashier gave us honest recommendations based on our questions. Extremely friendly. Food was also a great price and the serving sizes were healthy. Dogs were great. Was it truly the best dog I’ve ever had, no. But you can’t beat the price and how gourmet the overall experience was. Will definitely be going back.

The Chicago hot dog was perfect. The fries need to be more crispy and thiner. The restaurant was very clean and the service was great and fast.

I was born and raised in the Chicago land area and these guys do it right! The owner is one of the best humans out there and the food is to die for! Get an Italian beef with hot peppers if you want a true Chicago delicacy.

A little chill on the roadside corner place open pretty late and just convenient prices are up there but as far as for it being downtown their the fairest there is. Most certainly love their milkshakes for $7 and I got there German brat not as big as I hoped but flavor and toppings on point and what I paid was fair as ever here is updated menu photos I posted.

Good for a late night bite or quick stop. Plenty of options for different hot dog toppings.

Was craving a good hotdog and Billy's did not disappoint... The restaurant was spotless, well lit, very inviting and the service was amazing!!! The suggestions were on point, although I think anything on the menu would've been incredible. Had the Tijuana with ½&½ on the cripsy onion rings and fresh well seasoned fries!!! Definitely will be making another trip to taste their variety of hotdog's!!!

Its so funny cause I've driven by here a thousand times, but never stopped. So very glad that I dis! It was excellent 👍 I had a Coney Island dog and it was spot on. The chili was perfect (east coast style) and the bun was super soft. My friends had the Chicago dogs and they looked great as well. Fries are the fresh cut russet potato style and they were great. Everything here is like super fresh, I'll be coming back very soon 😁 Service was really great, too

I'm not a fan of Hot Dogs at all but the Chicago Style hot dog from Billy's was amazing. I sat out on the patio it was very relaxing. Parking is sorta difficult as this is on the corner and there are a few busy restaurants over there.

Billy’s downtown restaurant is located at the triangular intersection of Broadway and Larimer, with a patio that offers a panoramic view of downtown life. It also offers the intersection of two pursuits: an affection for Chicago-inspired nostalgia, and the contemporary trend toward exotic meats and artistic accents in our comfort food. Billy’s standard is the Chicago standard: an all-beef Vienna dog with the steamed bun, but they also offer housemade Italian and Polish sausages. And many other dogs and sausages, such as corn dogs, duck sausage, Cajun sausage, and chicken mango jalapeno sausage. There are vegan dogs, apparently well-regarded by the vegan community. There are also “not dogs,” a clever name for other alternative sandwiches: not just burgers, but grilled salmon and thin-sliced Italian roast beef. Billy’s has nine (nine!) varieties of fries. The Garlic Pesto Blue Cheese fries seems the most interesting, but I haven’t had them yet. Billy’s also has ice cream and sorbet, all made in-house. I ordered the Billy Dog, a traditional Chicago dog - Vienna beef, mustard, relish, onions, pickle spear, sport peppers, tomato slices, and celery salt, steamed bun with sesame seed. It was very good. I also had one of the specialties, the White Hot Dog. It’s basically a Coney Island, but the “White Dog” is a combination of uncured and unsmoked pork, veal, and beef. The chili was good, thick and meaty like I prefer, but it masked any unique flavor the meat may have had. Billy’s is the pride and joy of Billy Feid, a Chicago native. He had what might be humorously seen as a mild middle-age crisis, and the result was that he opened a hot dog joint. Well, there are two or three of them now. It’s a great outcome for all hot dog lovers - the fancy artistic kind, and the old-time Chicago kind, too.
