Hey there! Girl from Texas here!!! One thing about us we LOVE some good Mexican food and I can truly say this was so amazing this is the second day I am back!!! The green cabbage salsa is EVERYTHING! I have never had anything like it and it’s amazing! The drinks are also phenomenal! I’m not sure if it’s being a mile high but I am in a good place lol! I also had the Al Pastor Tacos and they were sooo good! The flavor of everything was just amazing. The atmosphere was also great on a Saturday afternoon! I had an amazing lunch!

Good food and great service. The neighborhood is kinda sketchy but it's worth a trip. Huge portions of yummy Mexican food at reasonable prices. I would definitely return.

If you’re craving great Mexican food. This is the spot. We went there on a Saturday night and had chicken and steak fajitas and a chicken chimichanga and LARGE margs. When they say large, they mean LARGE. Chips and salsa included like any classic spot :) The service was fantastic and the food really hit the spot. Can’t wait to come back and try out more of the menu.

This little gem is a must come too and enjoy! The owner is awesome all the staff is courteous and extremely helpful. You won’t find people standing around on their phones here! These ladies hustle and keep moving throughout the night. The food shut the front door! Delicious and fresh. The margaritas do not taste like a bunch of mix and a splash of tequila! Excellent and and authentic. We will definitely be back!

Today was my third time at this location, only been once to the other location, while the other location may have a more modern decor it is smaller and Ive enjoyed this location much more so far. The customer service is much better here, this is a no frills , Nothing fancy, not meant to be fancy as new current restaurants tend to aim for; this a rustic authentic down to earth location with majority of dishes being truly authentic. So the first time I came I ordered a the "no he venido" which translates to " Ive never been here". That dish consists of steak, shrimp and lobster with a baked potatoe which was a perfect dish, visually and cooked perfectly. This 3rd visit I ordered another combo with a name that usually comes in a molcajete, even though they have a molcajete by that name ordered the dish trying to keep the price down. While prices may seem higher than usual, the food is truly unique, well prepared and plated properly. The service and food has been consistant. I've read some reviews saying it's either expensive or "bland; while our taste buds are different this food seems to aim to enhance the flavors of the main ingredients not overpower or cover the lack of their flavor by showering with sauces, cheeses, sour cream etc. Their menu is quite large and price ranges vary so there's option for everyone's budget, while a good huge portions are for splurging and I would expect to pay these prices. Today I ordered a dish which had chicken, fish and steak. Also had some avocado, some grilled onions, bell peppers salad with rice. The rice was fluffy maybe could use flavor but even as it was it's better than majority of restaurants out there. I ordered a clamato preparado (non alcoholic) to my surprise was one of the best tasting, they seem to use natural ingredients and would make sense being they sell so much seafood. It was delicious I tried to enjoy sipping it savoring it until very end. The meats have always been cooked perfectly, the meats have grill marks most likely flamed or flame grilled. This is a semi rustic restaurant with very attention to detail from the cooks and staff. I have been to many restaurants and one thing that is often lacking is plating; while I mainly focus on flavor it's difficult to ignore the plating which permits for those perfect like photos. Think that those that mention it looks divey don't quite grasp the theme or atmosphere of this restaurant, the name and their logo is a good indicator I would say, siete leguas is one of a legendary heroic like horse that belonged to one Mexico's biggest Robinhood like heroes. I would highly recommend this restaurant, don't get discouraged by dim down lighting, you can see some pictures where venue is well lit, but I'm sure it wouldn't be as cozy and intimate if lights were blasted to full brightness. While the dish tasted perfect as it was, being so accustomed to hot sauce I requested some "salsa taquera " halfway through meal which came in handy to make a steak taco towards the end of my meal. The steak did get a tad cold since I left until end, and I'm a fairly fast eater but then again it was huge portion so it's to be expected. If you like your meals to remain sizzling hot and you're a slow eater you should order food either In a fajita skillet, molcajete or parillada. All these do come in large portions parrilladas the alrgest being usually to share in a group.

I took my wife and kids to celebrate Mothers Day on Wednesday and yes it was Sunday but my job makes it hard to celebrate it cause me and my son work long shifts on weekends and he aint off till Wednesday himself. Anyway we decided to try 7Leguas by my house on E. Colfax Ave and Willow St. turns out to be very nice place and the prices here are pretty reasonable. First when you come looks kinda like an old Sports Bar outside and by the way it was one before. You walk in it's really nice inside and the music is yes Mexican music, TVs on the walls and some of the tables are carved wood which was realy awesome. The food was excellent in our opininion. Everything we ordered was freshly made and the servings were big we couldn't eat it all had to take some home for sure. We ordered allot of food so I figured let the pictures speak for themselves. You want a place to take the family out to eat this is the place to take them for some real authentic Mexican Food thay tastes realy good. Now for the staff, the waitress was very nice and courteous. She made sure we had everything we needed including our cups full of Dr Pepper and or food was prepared the way we liked it. The waitress was so good I got to give her har own rating of 6 Stars yes she was that good. I highly recommend 7 Leguas on Willow St. to everyone. We will definately be going back soon.

My local pick for Mexican food. They have generous portions, amazing authentic flavors, and a friendly staff. Never been disappointed whenever I have visited. They truly know what they're doing!

Food was bomb, smelled so good as soon as we entered the building. Margaritas are on point, waitresses all very tentative! Live music 🎶

Great place. I’ve been to the 7 Leguas up the road on Colfax but just discovered this one closer to home. Good food and friendly staff.

Delicioso! We love the tacos and the yummy horchata. So many great options on their menu. We always get takeout so not sure how the indoor restaurant experience is.
