This is the best coffee shop in Denver. No wifi. No frills. Just really good coffee.
We flew in from Austin for a show and stayed just down the street, wandering in on our first day in town. Fell in love and came back every day we were here. Such a rad place with rad people working it. 10/10 would recommend.
Unpretentious spot for a quality cup of coffee. Modern industrial and old timey diner vibes meet to create a uniquely charming space. Service was great and we will be returning on the regular.
Yum! Cozy little spot right off of Colfax. You can enjoy coffee and breakfast pastries inside (there are a handful of tables, it would be a little loud to work remote there during the morning) or step outside and enjoy the sunshine. The service was fast, efficient and friendly. Their iced coffee is great, striking that perfect balance between flavor & smooth sipping.
I used to drive by here on my way to work and always wanted to stop in because it looks so cute! I am happy I finally did, the iced maple cinnamon latte was delicious as well as the egg & cheese. The people working were very welcoming and I loved the aesthetic there. I’ll be back!
They have Crystal Sauce and Hot Mustard. Clearly some refined tastes run this establishment. You should run too. Get all the good stuff and enjoy some plant friends and a Pink La Marzocco espresso machine. Precious spot, damn fine drinks.
Busy little coffee shop with amazing coffee (and coffee art) and gorgeous flowers. Fast, hospital service. Will visit again! They serve the tastiest mochas, my favorite.
Update: I’m relieved to see that Lula Rose General Store not only survived the pandemic, but the shop seems to be thriving, serving coffee and pastries in a safe, socially distanced way.
I still love the taste of their mochas and the heart latte art was a lovely bonus.
Sad I stopped in here a couple days before moving out of Denver! Coffee = amazing, Egg & cheese biscuit =a mazing, atmosphere = cozy (the pink espresso machine = to die for), service = top notch
Had an excellent espresso on the bench, then took an iced coffee and a breakfast burrito on the road. Very satisfying.
My favorite coffeeshop in the city, food and drinks never disappoint. Plus, the dudes that work there call you and everyone else daddy or daddio... It's awesome lol
Friendly staff, terrific coffee and a cool space. I like that they play old movies too. Only flaw is the service can take a little while since space is limited. Can't comment on the food
Biting into one of Hunters sandwiches from Lula rose is like that scene in ratatouille where the food critic is taken back to his childhood and reminded what it is to experience joy. But with less rodents involved in the food prep. 5/5.
