The food here is exceptional!! My friends and I went for restaurant week and everything on the menu was so delicious! The cheese balls are out of this world. We made a reservation for 7:30 and weren't seated until around 8:15, but they went above and beyond to make up for the delay, like providing us with multiple free drinks and appetizers. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

This place is an undiscovered gem. We went there at prime brunch time Saturday and got our choice of tables. Where do I start? They have BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH DRINKS for $12. You can mix and match with mimosas, bloodys, greyhounds, beer, sangria. AMAZING. Secondly, they have the glorious Irish Breakfast shot, which comes with bacon for just $6. Perfect. Now the food- you can't go wrong with any option, but we got the Vanilla French Toast and the Spicy Chicken Biscuit. Both were absolutely stellar. Our lovely waitress Brittany hooked it up with some spicy maple syrup which made everything even better. Just go there, before everyone else finds out about how amazing it is.

Very happy with my visit here. I got the 3 cheese burger, cooked to a perfect medium rare. I also got the perfect tan milkshake, very tasty. And the house truffle chips are amazing.

This place is night and day better than when it first opened! Food, drinks AND service is 5 star (and I'm typically hard to please). After a long day of hard workouts, John hooks me up with a DOUBLE dose of the Power Greens Salad with Salmon (cooked to perfection); shredded kale, quinoa, sweet potato, brussel sprouts, avocado, almonds, and a pesto dressing. Perfect for an endurance athlete like myself or anyone else for that matter. Not pictured--glass of Malbec--but we'll pretend that didn't happen.

This place isn't super exciting but I think that's why I liked it. The patio is a wonderful place to relax in the evening and the chairs are actually comfortable... Unlike other places around! It was also not very busy and I was there on a Saturday night! I ordered the burger medium and it came out medium well but it was still delicious so I didn't send it back. They offer sweet potato fries as a free side option too which I was pleased with... They were delicious! Will probably come back since I enjoyed the patio so much.

Amazing experience at Jack's. Entire staff was super friendly and kind. The food was out of this world. Honestly some of the best food I've ever had in Denver. I can't wait to go back!! The food taste even better than it looks in the pictures and that's saying something because the presentation was stunning! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Stumbled across this little gem going home last weekend. The food was delicious and service was great. Had a few small plates. The brussel sprouts were yummy, and the green goddess dressing so good!!! We'll definitely be back.

Great restaurant with a lot of charm. Cool blue colored bar gives this place a unique vibe and differentiates it from other restaurants in Uptown/Cap Hill area. Staff are very attentive. They have an outdoor patio that is a great place to dine especially if you have a large party. Food was amazing!!

AWESOME!!! Excellent food, atmosphere is great and staff is super friendly! Great customer service, Rhee, Matt, the GM ( and sometimes cook, everyone is so nice. Be sure to try the Pimento cheese balls, the artichoke bites, everything is so yummy. Great drink specials for happy hour...Nice!

Awesome spot for happy hour to dinner complete night. Drinks were perfect, appetizers were just right with size and quality, and dinner was delicious afterwards. The decor and atmosphere inside were great as well. Highly recommend!

Awesome open air resteraunt with 2 patios! A great place to bring the whole family or grab drinks with a group of friends. Serving fantastic American food with an updated twist. Also has a great happy hour during the week. Definitely put Jack's on your list of places to check out!

Really nice place with well thought out food options. The salads are incredible, and so are the burgers. Cooked to perfection and served with serious style. Expect to spend a bit more than a usual burger place but you'll experience the difference.

The only reason I'm not giving 1 star to this place is because I like the interior. I want to like this place because it's in my neighborhood but we got off on the wrong foot and haven't really recovered.
As someone with a food allergy I pay attention to how places handle food requests. My husband and I went in for a cocktail and to scope the place out. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. I asked the bartender about gluten free options and she said "we have really great salads!" Major major points off there. That's like handing a vegetarian a cucumber and telling them you have great vegetarian options. Especially in Denver, seriously. Cocktails were decent.
Fast forward to today, I'm actually craving a salad and remember this ridiculous remark (plus the line and O&F was longer than I wanted to wait) so I pop over to Jacks and order the quinoa salad with salmon from the server who approached me as I walked in. I sat at the bar while I waited, I was not approached by the bartender, I would've ordered a drink while waiting. She was complaining about some mishap with grub hub to anyone who would listen. After a short period of time I get my $18 salad and am on my way. I get home and open my salad and have the smallest piece of salmon, it wasn't even 4 ounces. That salmon cost $5.
This place is a rip off with mediocre service. If you want to pay a lot of money for ok food, this is your place. Or you can go to the 5 other restaurants within your line of site that are delicious, have great service and aren't overpriced.

I recently dined at Jack's and was thoroughly impressed with the menu, friendly and attentive service and wine list. Jacks's puts a gourmet twist on classic comforts foods with fresh, local ingredients and hand crafted dishes. The house made cheesecake was a delicious finish to the meal.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here last night after receiving coupon in the mail. We sat at the bar which is our usual seating choice for dinner if we have the option. My boyfriend ordered the salmon special and I the caprese salad and both were fantastic!! I also had the primo paloma drink which was the best grapefruit concoction Ive ever had. Everyone we interacted with from the hostess to the GM were really nice, friendly and attentive! We love our neighborhood bars and restaurants, this one has been added to our go-to list!

My husband and I recently stopped by for lunch at Jack's and we were very impressed with their wide range of menu options, fresh drink list (all their juices are freshly squeezed in house!) and welcoming atmosphere. We started off with the cheese balls appetizer, which was so delicious (and fun to eat) that it is honestly a little dangerous. I then ordered the roasted veggie salad, which was a very light and nutritious meal... the sweet potatoes and butternut squash in particular were roasted to perfection. Another great restaurant addition to Uptown!

The friendly staff made us feel very welcome on my birthday. The service was great; our server was very attentive and helpful. The food was super yummy! No surprises, what you order is what you get. The portions are very generous. It’s. a cute spot, would be nice outside dining in the summer. My husband and I will be sure and return.

No happy hour specials, not worth my business. I had the worst experience during grand opening. I live down the block and I will never eat here again. I was treated poorly and the drinks had a good flavor but they didn't taste like they had alcohol in it for the price I paid. I was looking forward to a new spot on 17th, disappointed.
