Tamale Kitchen - Denver - Photo album

So great to eat good tamales! I live in a part of New Mexico where you can't get good tamales in any restaurant, so when I come back to Denver, I'm on the lookout! First time eating here and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with members of my high school class of 69. The service was excellent!
We didn't wait long for the food after we ordered. The food wasn't bad. They have food specials on certain days of the week. The prices were pretty good. I ordered the smothered steak burrito this time. Plenty of meat.
A traditional lunch with traditional Mexican-American dishes. Enchiladas smothered in melted cheese and red sauce, a crispy chile relleno, traditional tacos in the hard shell, rice with kernels of corn and other interesting bits and pieces, thick refried beans, corn chips and red salsa. There was on
Not busy, immediate service! Food on table within 4 minutes. Food is good/delicious. Plenty of seating, Fun music....
No wait. Good food. Okay service. Reasonably priced. Considering the location, I was not expecting as good a meal as I received. Thank you for exceeding my expectations. Good job team!
tamale kitchen Denver sells ready-to-heat tamales. they aint fancy, or handmade. they're mass produced, spicy, small creations - 100% perfect to heat on my car engine. UH,... also- did i say - SPICY
Great old school joint! Low prices, terrific enchiladas, great staff, cheap drinks. I've had better tamales, but they have a bunch of different types at good prices. Their chips have always tasted stale to me, I assume because they leave them out in a big bin.
Got lunch to go. Quick order taking and prep. The tamales are great, the green Chile is ok. The salsa they serve with the chips is excellent. I'll definitely be back to try more
Only got tamales. But they were spicy and delicious. Only gave a tour star for atmosphere because it smelled like a bathroom urinal cleaner.
Are you hungry for Mexican?! Then this is the place brother! Cheap and yummy is a combo that's hard to break! No valet though. =/
I got 2 bacon breakfast burritos and they were soooooo good. Is there a reason why the Washington St and sloans lake location make their burritos so differently? Sloans lake location has a TON of mushy potato, where as the one in my pic from Washington st is just right…every single time.
The tamales were tasty, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
