Amazing pizza and amazing people!! I love their pizza...fresh and delicious flavors! I love that it's wood fired, you can't get that everywhere!! And I love how they look out for their vegetarian friends! Not only do they offer a veggie pizza...but they will modify other yummy pizzas so they are vegetarian! My favorite is the Thai chili pizza ..oh yum!!! Totally a food truck worth chasing around town!!

We hired basic needs for our wedding. They were not only very reasonably priced but also we're amazing to work with in every way. They had a wonderful menu to pick from and we're super easy to communicate with about the entire process. They were very easy about offering dairy-free and gluten-free options to my guests that needed it. I really loved how they had unique pizzas but also were able to pull off the classics perfectly! Most importantly though, they were very helpful to work with on my day of and we're completely self-sufficient, meaning I didn't have to worry about them when I had everything else going on during my wedding, which was a huge help. Lastly, the individuals that showed up to my wedding representing basic kneads we're so nice and helpful. I wish I had caught the name of the man who was serving the pizzas because he was so nice and helpful, and I had multiple guests comment on how friendly he was. Loved this vendor! We had Basic Kneads cater our mountain wedding and it was perfection. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the pizza was, and the vendors were so personable, fun and reliable. If you’re considering pizza for your wedding, DO IT. The appetizers were also amazing, Basic Kneads knows how to put on a show!
Just the best wood-fired pizza around! A great whole wheat crust - thin, with nice toppings. Our favorite for years has been their Thai chile chicken pizza. Unfortunately, this year they've moved to more catering and therefore have limited food truck dates. Check their website for future scheduled dates.
We could not be happier with our experience with Basic Kneads at our wedding! First and foremost, the pizza was INCREDIBLE! My now husband and I knew we loved them before the wedding, but our guests were so happy- we heard so many compliments about how much everyone loved the food. The apps were also delicious. Beyond that, the husband and wife team who run Basic Kneads were so kind, professional, and communicative throughout! I could not recommend them enough to anyone who needs wedding catering!
They were an incredible addition to our wedding and everyone loved the pizza and appetizers - so many comments during and after about how excellent it was. They exceeded our expectations on every aspect of the process. Highly recommended!
The pizzas were excellent! They were pretty busy we were there on a Thursday afternoon. The wait was worth it. I had one of their vegan.
Visited here in the first week or so they were open...tasted just as good as their truck and the brick and mortar location in golden is great! The service was nice (as they run through the new system). The staff was friendly and attentive. And I LOVE that you can get dessert and bubbles. Go check it out!!!
Basic Kneads is amazing! They catered our wedding and it exceeded expectations. They were organized and punctual. And of course the pizza tasted so good! Our guests just raved about it. I highly recommend getting their pizza at breweries or hiring them to cater your events. Thank you!
Joel & Christen are truly an amazing duo! For the last year, they have been by our side as we set out to have them cater our wedding, and have been nothing but kind, flexible, and passionate about their business! Prices are incredibly reasonable and the food is a hit!!! Had so many compliments from our guests. There was even a moment during our wedding where we were behind schedule, and Christen was so amazing in lovingly and calmly reassuring us and getting us back on track. Plus, they have the cutest two dogs that are always a crowd favorite. :) Could not recommend highly enough!!! We will forever be grateful for them.
The pizza here is so good! Friendly staff. Good choice of sodas. Crust is thin and whole wheat and tasty. Lots of variety in toppings. Yummy garlic knot appetizer.
