La Abeja Bakery - Denver - Photo album

Absolutely incredible!!! I got 3 barbacoa tacos and my girlfriend barbacoa and carnitas sopes and they were out of this world. It is a very unassuming looking place from the outside, but don't let that fool you. When I visit Denver again I will revisit this place!
*** update**- i have started getting breakfast and lunch here at least twice a week now. If i could eat their food everyday, i absolutely would. And love every bite!!! This place is by far my favorite spot to grab some authentic and delicious food!!!!!! I have tried the breakfast burrito and the a
Delicious, gigantic, comforting burritos! First time here and ordered the Asada smothered burrito, and it's outrageously good. Less than $14 out the door for something that I'll have to break up into two meals. I can't wait to try pretty much everything here.
Hands down the very best chilaquiles I’ve ever had. And they have been extremely consistent with quality every time I’ve been in. My girlfriend and I split a chilaquiles with asada, pastor, and 2 fried eggs and it’s incredible.
When I visit Denver I seek out this spot. The food, especially the green chili is so tasty. I always get Huevos Rancheros. Service has always been kind and quick. It is pretty much a “hole in the wall” but I appreciate the character and humbleness.
A beautiful, enormous burrito for $10. The carnitas were so good! Best burrito I’ve had in Denver.
This family owned nook has been around for over 15+ years! Authentic Mexican food that won't break the bank. From flavor to service, they are very good. We ordered 4 different tacos and a smothered green Chili burrito. Each item was generously stuffed with all the goodies. Meat piled high on the ta
Very solid tacos in Denver (where there are many places to choose from). Open early too which is great if you're craving chilaquiles or just some really good tacos for breakfast.
Really solid tacos and they give you a good amount of meat for your money
Muy rica la torta de carnitas y los chilaquiles!! Definitely recommend! It has a homey vibe and a homemade taste that a lot of Mexican restaurants don't have!! Me encanto and I'm definitely coming back!
Wow. The best Mexican food I’ve had in Denver. Enchiladas and chilaquiles were excellent. So much flavor in the rice and beans too. Big portions.
The menudo is delicious, very traditional like I’m used to in El Paso, TX. My new go to spot here in downtown. The huevos rancheros were spicy, flour tortilla was homemade & the frijoles were on point. The only negative is the staff wasn’t very attentive after being seated. I had to constantly look
The Menudo was delicious! Not greasy and fresh. The Staff was very efficient. Can't wait to come back and check out one of the breakfast platters. This is a hole in the wall but it's authentic and that's what's important. If you Booshay... Find you a tasteless Mexican resturant
Truly love this spot, flavors are great and prices are unmatched! It has quickly become one of my top favorites downtown
Wonderful experience. I’ve never had a seeet empanada and was so glad I found this place. It’s like a cross between a Mexican bakery with a Galician flare. Top both cookies, empanadas were fantastic, fresh as heck and flaky good. Service was there best and so friendly. Can’t wait to go back for mo
I asked for extra cheese in my breakfast burrito and they understood the assignment :)
Stumbled upon this restaurant this morning. La Abeja serves the best Mexican food in Denver. I can’t believe I’ve lived in capital hill for over a year before discovering them! Hidden gem…I live within walking distance and can’t wait to go back.
