Nice place. Coffee great...free burnt cookies. Yummy.
Cozy atmosphere, usually pretty quiet if you want a work space. The owner and employees are very nice. It's an old building without central A/C, which does become noticeable during the warmest months if you're sitting there a while. But, they do have a small patio. Their breakfast burritos are the absolute best. I'm not a DU student, but if you are (and I think most of Belle Rosette's customers are), it's amazingly convenient, and has a really nice neighborhood feel.
Only been once, although I live in the neighborhood. Had a breakfast burrito and a latte. No complaints! Also a great place to study and chat. Will be stopping back in soon!
A true gem a block from the University. The staff, Hanna & another lovely woman, were attentive, friendly and proficient. The breakfast sandwiches, coffee and tea were delicious and memorable. And the atmosphere was welcoming, warm and the changeable art and drawings were wonderful! (We know, as they were changed out when we returned on Saturday because we enjoyed the original time we were there on Thursday. Saturday, we had the male owner, according to my son, who frequents this establishment, and another younger man serve us delicious breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Just todiefor!!! Whether attached to DU or just passing through, you’ll be just as welcomed and feel at home! Hopefully we’ll be returning in the future!
Went in this morning to grab breakfast before work, I should have been going here since I moved! The guy making coffee was so nice and so was the blonde lady at the counter. Almond Joy espresso & I had to try “The Ohio” because thats where I’m from. It did not dissapoint, I can’t wait to try more. Delicious, fast and considerate! Edit: Been coming here over a year now and all of the baristas are so sweet and everything I’ve had is delicious.
It's like a speakeasy, but a coffee shop, and also a wine bar - service was excellent, and I had a new cabernet by the glass which was delicious (really great wine selection!). The location is south side of DU's campus, within walking distance, which is a good thing because parking is limited. Seating is also limited, though the inside is bigger than you might think, due to a second room. I would absolutely go again!
Had some coffee and breakfast here and the service was exceptional.
I enjoyed a cappuccino with a breakfast burrito and my husband had drip coffee and a breakfast sandwich. We enjoyed all of it.
This is a cute and friendly neighborhood place that is worth checking out at least once.
For such a small place LBR really packs in the food & drink options and has plenty of quaint personality to match. If you’re a dan of lemonade/tart drinks, the citronique on tap is a must try. Paninis are solid and wine list is at a healthy length. lol
This is a cool little place. We had lunch here, got the portabello sandwich, ice tea and the cookies were awesome. Had a little jazz in the background, good place to hang out! Indoor and outdoor seating, there is a parking lot in back.
Delightful coffee shop, fantastic and friendly staff, cozy and collegiate atmosphere. Try their made in house biscotti! I enjoy their spicy soy chai.
PERFECT cozy, kind, exactly what I needed on a snowy Sunday morning! I only had coffee, no food, but the cooking smelled delicious. This might become my favorite coffee stop!

Delicious food and drinks from very friendly people! Lots of seating inside and nice sunny tables out front. Worth the wait! Expect to have to find parking somewhere other than the parking lot.
Mad panini and they make their own baked goods! The tea Smoothie isn't sweet at all FYI (health>sugar)
