Review Huhot Mongolian Grill - Denver

Stopped in Denver and was craving a good balance between lots of meat protein and lots of veggies and was happy I stopped at Huhot Mongolian grill. I grabbed a to go plate, which is pretty pricey but worth the portion of food. The lady in the front was nice enough to advise me beforehand that since it was a to go bowl, I was able to grab more than one plate, so I ended with 2 bowls. One full with protein and the other with nothing but veggies. You are able to choose your own proteins and your veggies to your liking. Wide selection of protein like Asian meatballs, beef, breaded chicken, diced ham, crab, mild sausages, pork, chicken, and even tofu. The types of noodles they have are chinese noodles, yakisoba noodles, pad Thai rice noodles, and zucchini noodles. Vegetables selection is amazing with baby corn, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, celery, cilantro, corn, green beans, spinach, jalapeños, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, pineapple, red potatoes, and zucchini. They craziest is the selection of sauces they have. It is a total of like 24 different sauces that you can mix and match with your food. I can't remember which ones I got, but they were the spicy ones for sure. The cooks were friendly and offered to add anything more before they cooked the meal. I grabbed a good portion of everything from proteins, the veggies, and the sauces, so I felt satisfied with my bowl. They also have toppings to finish off your bowl/plate sunflower seeds, chow mein, peanuts, sesame seeds, coconut, crushed red pepper, and wasabi. Added some crushed red peppers and sunflower seeds to finish mine off, full bowl to the brim with everything I was craving. Fresh and hot meal, great experience, clean restaurant with hospitable staff, would definitely recommend, and would like to be back sometime again! 👍

One of our favourite Mongolian grill chains. Loved the food here , they nicely grill the stuff you give them as per directions. Service is good , atmosphere is more like a fast food resturant.

All you can eat all I can say wow! What a great place to come and eat like a champ! Definitely going to be a spot that I will go over and over again. I really enjoyed it and I am stuffed after two bowls of Mongolian barbecue! I put way too much sauce but it made it way too good!

Heard good things about HuHot. Similar to Genhis grill except it is all you can eat. Liked that aspect; however, some of the meat options were extra frozen making the quality okay but somewhat chewy. The vegetables, sides and sauces were pretty good. Given the price, all you can eat, alright food, and quick service I would go again perhaps on shrimp days.

Food was good but the sanitary gloves and sesame seeds were gone. I had to look for a staff member for sometime and ask for both things to be filled. There was eventually a short lady (looked like in her 50's) walking by in kind of a rush and I politely asked her about it but seams like she had other stuff she needed to do in the same time but she still did it with a bit of resistance and attitude...

The food is awesome. The staff is very friendly! The best food experience I've had so far in Denver. I went for lunch...it was so yummy! I came back in the evening for some take out for my super. The same great experience! Yummy food and friendly staff.

Good place to eat. It was awesome watching the chefs cook up each bowl of food. There was a wonderful selection of meats including shrimp, crab, mussels, beef, chicken, and more. Several types of noodles to choose from as well as rice. Tons of veggies. The number of sauces you can create is close to endless. You even get soft serve ice-cream when you are done with your meal.

Amazing place. Great selection.... One star removed for only havong one beef tray, which is often empty. Basically, they want you to eat other stuff. It tastes good, though, and I'll wait for the beef. The sauce choices are substantial. **update** the bacon on the menu is nothing but fat. Literally only the fat portion of a bacon strip... Pretty gross.

Mongolian BBQ where you grab a bowl, add protein, veggies, and sauces (maybe some noodles) and hand it to a guy who cooks it on a big round griddle. Good ingredient selection, excellent sauce selection, and a great value for an all-you-can-eat MBBQ. Great service. The soft serve ice cream is also included!

3rd location visited, same excellent service, same great food I've received at all of the HuHot locations. Shoutout to Nikki, (Sorry if I misspelled it) for helping make our experience here a great one! She definitely went above and beyond in regards to service. I highly recommend coming here if in the area. The food is made super fresh and always pleases, and believe me when I say I'm extremely picky about where I dine out. Great work Northfield location!!!

Couldn't have asked for better service! We walked in close to closing time & the cashier gave us a discount. She also offered us free to go boxes because the grill was shutting down in15 min. Their whole staff was very friendly and polite! It was a great atmosphere and very clean. They also have icecream for desert. & free refills, as well. We had a great dinner that evening. We'd deffinetly go back.

We like HuHot and are repeat customers. However, this is our first time at this location. I like this location a lot since you pay right at entry so no waiting before leaving, and they have soft serve ice cream, smores and fountain drinks (again no waiting for server). Plus the bus person was very efficient in picking up used plates! Other than that, the food bar and sauce bar options are great, just like all HuHot locations. I will definitely come back to this location.

Love it! The grill master always leaves the food on a little longer if you ask him to. I like how you decide what flavor to put on your plate, if you don't like it you just go for another, I have figured out what I like the most on my plate everytime I go. Sometimes I change it up and venture. Wish they would have kept the black pepper flavor year round!

I don't usually leave reviews, especially bad reviews but my experience at the Shawnee, Kansas HUHOT was beyond awful. I went there on the recommendation of my daughter (she really liked the Columbia, Missouri location). I will begin by saying that the meat shrunk up to tiny jerky bits that were flavorless, and then the seafood smelled very bad almost to the point of not being able to stand at the grill area while my food was cooked. The cook staff was rude to my wife and daughter and poorly trained to cook on the big flat top. The flat top was not hot enough to cook the food in the time frame that the cooks were using to put the food out. The food was served with the vegetables truly raw, and by the taste they weren't fresh or properly cared for. Sauces were oily, and seemed to have too much garlic flavor. To make it clear the lack of dry seasonings and flavorless rice, with no option of tortillas, or lettuce wraps, cheese, etc. for those who may not want an Asian flavored meal but are dining with others, added to the poorly prepared meal and poor experience. I have to say that HUHOT does not come even close to competing with your competitors. The meal was bad, and the cost for the poor product only added insult to injury. Again I don't usually do this but my experience was beyond bad. We had no wait on a Saturday night after 6 pm with numerous empty tables, that should have been our first sign. Please save your time and money!!!!!!!!! I wish I had my money back!!!!!!!

A non-assistance dog was allowed into the Bloomington, IN location while we dined there this evening. The dog was carried into the food preparation area. Totally unsafe for others. All the employees greeted the owner of the dog as if she was an off-duty employee. No concern for food safety or health violations at this location.

The Grand Forks Hu Hot has yet to disappoint me. Stu (one of the grill masters) is AWESOME. I always know I will have a perfectly cooked meal when he is on the grill. My last visit was the best yet.. Jasmine - our waitress.. was fun and funny, and the new Curry sauce of the season is top notch.. HuHot is one of my favorite places to go, and the one in Grand Forks is absolutely exceptional.

Very disappointed in my current visit (6/1/18). Arrived at 8:45pm to the Logan, Utah location. I attend this Hu hot semi regularly and this is by far the worst experience I've had. Half of the grill was shut down over 1 hour before closing when there was obviously many patrons still dining. Thus the wait was unnecessarily long for everyone. My wife spoke directly to Steve the "manager" and nothing was done about it. The wait times were easily longer than even the peak dining times. Secondarily our waitress was inattentive at best. She brought the wrong drinks twice before we finally got our correct drink order. The dining area was also filthy. I understand that it would be impossible for a buffet style restaurant to keep a spotless dining area but I'll be picking bits of food out of the soles of my shoes for quite some time. I'm not sure that anyone in my family will be returning to this location unless some restitution is made. It's a shame too because Logan is a small town and if Hu hot develops a poor reputation it won't last long before it will close down. I won't not like to see that.

Went to HuHot in West Allis, WI today for lunch. The delivery truck was late and there was no beef. The manager Marty was very nice about it and found a solution that was simple, yet made us happy. The grill cooks, waitress, and even the young lady filling the line containers were very nice. Thank you for another great visit!

Visit to Janesville, WI (8/5/18) HuHot was great. Aubrey was very welcoming as I walked in the door and was seated. Tiffany made sure I had everything I needed once seated. I didn't catch the names of the two guys at the grill, but they we friendly, funny, and conscientious that their cooking mattered. Interacted with two other employees casually as they cleaned, etc. Both were very friendly. Customer service is top notch at this location and the food quality was very good.

So i have been to Huhot a few times and today was my worst experience there was little to no meat what there was was tiny pieces u cant even pick at with your fork. The server forgot about us and our drinks was definifly not worth my travel or time!

This was the worst meal I have ever had at any Hu-Hot! They were under staffed and the food line was not stocked, and the sauce area was very dirty! The two managers they had working were worthless! Never going back to hu-hot in Westminster!

First visit was disappointing. West Allis, WI 6/15/18 1. No Asian dressing for the Asian salad because it cannot be unfrozen in time. We were offered other dressing choices like ranch for an Asian salad that turns out is the same as the regular salad except for the croutons. Why offer an asian salad if the only thing Asian about it was the dressing. 2. We ordered a Dr. Pepper and A Vitamin Water Tropical C. Returned to the table from the grill to find a water and what resembled a Dr Pepper. Notified waitress that I had ordered a Vitamin Water to be told that they do not have any vitamin water products. So i asked for a Coke. I was told they do not have syrup as the delivery truck did not arrive that day. Could not get any regular sodas that contained syrup. Then what was in the supposed Dr. Pepper. The waitress had mixed up a concoction of diet soda and cherry flavoring. When is it up to her to alter what was ordered. What if we were allergic to sugar supplements. All this after the vast number of drink combinations were advertised to us by the waitress. 3. When we complained of these issues the manager switched roles with the waitress. She would not return. He made the dining experience awkward asking us what felt like every five minutes how everything was going if we needed anything etc. If he wasn't hovering over us he was awkwardly pacing around the tables looking at us. This was just too much attention that became disruptive of our family meal and highly suffocating. Either leave us alone or sit down. All too awkward. 4. Finally the bill - The manager on duty took off 10% of the bill this did not even cover the two sodas that were ordered. We ultimately ended up with one water and one diet coke. Why were we charged for 2 sodas? Also our daughter is only 3 and we were charged for 2 kids dinners ages 4-9. No one asked us our kids ages. We didn't even want to argue these discrepancies and just paid the bill. This visit was a disaster. All could have been avoided if we were not advertised an Asian Salad and we were told in advance of the soda problems. Instead of leaning against the booths and talking among-st themselves or counting tips at a table the staff should have had a meeting to discuss these issues and how they are to address them. The food was good while eating it, even went for seconds, however after i sat down to eat I had to rush to the restroom. Total cleansing! Fifteen minutes after arriving home diarrhea set in!!! Ugh 3/6/17 At least the waitress was good at the Constitution location in Colo. Springs, Co.

Best place to eat staff is good food is even better
