It took me so long to come here since they opened. I used to come to the BBQ join years ago before it went downhill. Great bar, great place to watch sports. That has not changed.
The food is really good too for Saturday/Sunday sports food.
The cheese curds are so good. The Brussels sprouts are good. The soup is good.
My favorite might be the Cobb salad though... Maybe the best Cobb salad I've had... I hear their burgers and pork sandwich is really good too. I'll be sure to try those soon as I lose my holiday lbs i just gained! ;)
If you are looking for a friendly place to grab a few drinks and some good food and watch your team win, this is a great spot!

Great experience at the Midwestern Saloon. This is a casual place, but we were very impressed. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed the food. They have a good selection of Midwest comfort food. If you go, I recommend the cheese curds for an appetizer. If you are in the mood for a cheeseburger, DEFINITELY try the Juicy Lucy. It was one of my favorite burgers I've ever eaten!

I've been here several times with the family for the Pork Tenderloin. OMG. So delicious. The atmosphere is great although I wish they would paint it brighter. Nothing really POPS. ALL the food on the menu is fantastic as I've tasted all the plates. So good. Naturally football and Beer. The best place in Denver.

Food was quick and delicious.went with my 4 and 2 year old. Very affordable and great portion sizes. They have a decent kids menu and offered coloring pages and crayons. The cheese curds were just as good as when we get them back home in Wisconsin!

One of the best bars in Denver, and the best for sure west of Federal Blvd. Fantastic food, customer-focused staff and a crew of regulars that rivals Cheers. And apparently if you're from the midwestern US, you're gonna love the massive pork tenderloin which, for a southerner, is delicious but looks more like three meals at once. Highly recommend this place!

Came and ate several of their appetizers. Had the fried curd, fried brusselsprouts, and Mac and cheese with bacon. All were very tasty. Had a few pints. Waitress straight up told me one of the beers I ordered was taking a step down from the previous beer I ordered. She was right. Good food, good beer, good service.

The owners are some of the nicest, most genuine people I have met. This is reflected in how they run their business, the food/beverage beverage selection are both great quality and the environment is very welcoming. I highly recommend checking out Midwestern Saloon!

Excellent food and has substantially improved since when it first opened. I have been in 10+ times and each time the staff and food gets better. Initially it was obvious this place was new and getting off the ground but now the food comes out hot and in a timely manner and the wait staff is knowledgeable and prompt. Everytime I go in the owner/manager Dan is there and he seems to recognize anyone that returns more than a few times.

Came in to Midwestern Saloon with my son. He had the mac and Cheese with bacon and I had the Barn Door (Club Sandwich). Both tasted great. Will have to come in a watch some football on Sunday.

This is about the 5th time I've been there and always have the tenderloin. I come from Iowa and really miss tenderloins. I've been to about 6 different places in the Denver area that serve tenderloins and this is the best one. Thank you Westword for the article. Midwestern Saloon were amazing hosts for a party we threw there last night. They allowed us to rent out the back room for free, which was an awesome space- and from the moment we arrived until the moment we left they were extremely attentive, incredibly friendly, and generous. The food was great and they had a fun drink selection. I highly recommend this location for any kind of party. Very gracious hosts!

If you want comfort food this is your place!! The goulash is a bowl of deliciousness! I like so many things on their menu it is hard to name them all but here are a few more...pretzel with cheese sauce & spicy mustard, tots, fries, BLT, tater tot hot dish, burgers...you get the idea.

Cheese curds amazing! Grew up in Wisconsin Brandy old fashioned was ok, check out the Kentucky Inn that one is great. Ordered the goulash not so great pasta was soft and mushy but will be back to try other dishes!

Went there for "Breakfast with Santa" on Tennyson St. The food was excellent, had the Iowa Tenderloin Eggs Benedict and my son had a kids pan cake. The service was excellent. Will definitely be back.
