Met some friends here for dinner and it turned out to be a great experience. The waitress was very kind and timely. The food was delicious and came in pretty large portions. None of us could decide on just one thing, so we all ended up picking off of each others plates. After our friends left we got a dessert which finished the meal off perfectly. Will definitely be back soon.
What a delightful eatery! We stopped in after having visited Simply Pure just to have a drink and appetizer. I enjoyed an adult beverage-Hard Honey Lemonade, while he had a refreshing ginger ale. The catfish nuggets we shared where divine!!! But what we enjoyed most was the atmospheric; Absolutely chill...nice place to enjoy the conversation of someone special and dream about what's to come. We will be back to sample the other menu items before heading back to second city.
We went for restaurant week and had so much fun. The atmosphere was great, staff was knowledgeable and attentive. We started off with drinks, and they suggested an excellent whiskey; my bloody mary with a huge slice of bacon was delicious. The jerk wings were more salty than jerk, but still tasty. Gumbo was very good and the kale salad was amazing! The way the goat cheese melts on the just crisped kale..yum. The ribs and shrimp and grits were both excellent.
We live closer to another creole restaurant in Denver, and this was SO much better. We will be back!
I'm a big fan of this place. Their cocktails are good, and I'm not even a cocktail guy. I'm a fan of the Southern Mule, which is essentially a Moscow Mule with a sweet tea twist. Their brunch was also great. And they let us have our dog on the patio, which is always appreciated.
Initially thrown off by the higher prices, but the host guy treated us very well and we both enjoyed the southern style meals. Had the jerk wings, mac cheese and brussel sprouts.
Waffles were awesome. Huge portions of traditional southern food and everything we had was made well. Service was excellent and we walked in on a Friday night with no wait.
Food was great, service was friendly and inviting. Loved the brussel sprouts my daughter ordered (normally not a fan). Would return often if I lived closer.
Love this place so much. Really good soul/southern food and very well thought out whiskey cocktails. Rick is really friendly and has made the place my go-to. Never had to wait for a table and has a mellow crowd.
Excellent Breakfast this morning with friends at Jezebel's. In my reviews of places and spaces i look for the quality of what "makes me come alive more, and it exists here for sure:) South facing warm Sunny atmosphere, delicious food, and a playful and present staff. Check this one our for coffee, and food. They did not have Wifi, but there was several other connections that worked great for a saturday morning sit down with my laptop and friends.
Thus is the coolest joint in town. Blues, jazz. Drinks and the coolest atmosphere. If you can dig it man. Come down and take a taste. This place gets a 10.
