Review Happy Bakeshop - Denver

Happened to walk by during their $2 cupcake special. The shop smelled amazing. Our group picked out 8 cupcakes, and there were still so many others we wanted to try and didn't have room for! The cupcakes were moist for days, balanced between dense and bouncy, and had the perfect ratio of frosting (not too sweet!) and dough. We tried a couple of the GF cupcakes and they were also amazing.

We got our wedding cake here and it turned out absolutely INCREDIBLE! We had done their cupcake testing and worked with them on flavors and were able to come up with exactly what we wanted, lemon cake w/raspberry filling inside. So good. They were all so easy to work with and very responsive. Also got one of their jumbo cupcakes as it was my Dad's birthday and it turned out incredible also, so moist. Will definitely be back for future occasions and telling our friends to use them as well!

We hired Happy Bake Shop for our wedding on 2-26-22. They made our wedding cake and all of the treats for the dessert table. They also offer delivery service, which is so nice and well worth it. I worked with Evan over email and phone to go over options on desserts. She was so friendly and easy to communicate with. She was also so gracious as we kept adding to our order 🙂 When we were planning our wedding, we thought "not everyone is going to eat cake at a wedding...they are going to go for the other desserts".... we were so wrong! Our guests ate EVERYTHING! We had so many compliments on how delicious the cake and desserts were. Everything tasted so good and it all looked beautiful. We barely had any dessert left to take home. We used Happy Bakeshop for our wedding and they were amazing! We ordered a bunch of mini cupcakes and they delivered more than we had actually ordered. The selection process was fun and easy with the mini cupcake format. Their flavors are delicious and the cupcakes are light and moist. They delivered the cupcakes with no issue and everyone was happy with them! Highly recommend for your wedding cupcake needs.

I cannot thank the Happy Bakeshop team and Evan specifically enough for the most fabulous cake for our civil ceremony. The team was quick to turn the order around, it was delicious, and the decorations and taste were a hit with all of our guests. Thanks so much- you are now officially our neighborhood fave!

Happy bakeshop did the cake and cupcakes for our wedding! Beautiful + delicious desserts - we got so many compliments 🤍 however; they did forget one of our flavors.

Amazing customer service, execution, and DELISH baked goods!!! Evan went above and beyond to make our dessert vision come true for our wedding. Evan was very kind, patient, proactive and generous with their time. From the start of our first email to every call thereafter and even working our wedding, we couldn't have been in better hands with Evan. We had a tall order: we got 5 or 6 types of mini cupcakes, a 3 tier cake of 3 different flavors, all dairy-free, and cookies for goody bags suggested by Evan which Evan hand tied with mini discoballs on request. The cake was unbelievably tasty! I dream of it daily. The cupcakes were freakin adorable but sadly my plate of them got thrown out (who does that) during our reception so I never got to try them but everyone ate every last ounce of dessert which I feel never happens at weddings so this should also speak to their level of quality, presentation and flavor. The flavors are awesome too! So much variety. We went with a lemon lavender (yummm), custom coconut chocolate cinnamon (amaze), and mexican hot chocolate for cake (Okay wow). I was obsessed with, and savoring all of it. We had several left over cookies (salted choc chip and white sprinkles) and I was sooo glad cuz they were delicious. But really I want to highlight and express my gratitude for Evan. Without Evan this would not have been possible and we are sooooo thankful for your time, attention and care. You are awesome! TLDR: If you are considering Happy Bake Shop for your wedding or any event, or just a sweet treat yoself moment, I highly recommend them for their quality, value, presentation and customer experience. You will not be disappointed, and they will go the extra mile for you! Thank you SO much HBS!! We can't wait to come back (but really i need to lay off the cake and cookies for a hot sec hahaha).

We've had two excellent experiences with Happy Bakeshop! We went with them for our elopement cake and they made the entire process extremely easy and affordable! The cake was absolutely delicious and decorated exactly how we wanted it to look! I also worked with one of the managers to customize a very large macaron tower for my wife's surprise birthday and she made it all happen from start to finish! The cookies were amazing and the tower came out beautifully! We love Happy Bakeshop and will use them for our next event for sure!

I worked with Evan at Happy Bakeshop and she helped us put together the wedding cake and dessert of our dreams! For the cake we chose chocolate salted caramel as our flavor, with the naked frosting look and it fit so well with our floral and mountain setting wedding. We had the brownie bites and lemon bars as well and they were a hit. There were a lot of people (including us) that are not big fans of cake but this blew all of our expectations away! Evan was such a joy to work with and she is so helpful in offering suggestions to better suit our budget and our requests. Thank you for making the process so easy and stress free during such a stressful time! 10/10 will be using Happy Bakeshop for future events!

Happy bake shop did a great job decorating sugar cookies the way we wanted for a bridal shower! I’ve ordered cupcakes here twice and they are always a hit.

We had them bake cupcakes for my daughter’s unicorn-themed birthday party. I didn’t know exactly what to ask for, so they gave me some options and did a phenomenal job. The cupcakes were adorable and delicious. We received several compliments.

I have been here three times now for three separate special occasions. The first being my sister's 30th birthday/gender reveal for her new baby, second being the baby shower & third was this past weekend for her 31st birthday cake. The cakes are delicious and beautiful! I am definitely a long-term customer now! Only negative comment I will make is the baby shower cake had a large air bubble on the top causing it to crack. My sister's bestie was a pastry chef at the 4seasons and she said it happened because the cake was frosted while it was still warm, thankfully she was able to repair it.

Beautiful cakes and friendly staff, couldn’t ask for anything more! Placing a custom order online was easy and it was ready to be picked up exactly when we arranged!

What a great little bakery here on 32nd. It's got so many sweet treats, it's hard to know where to begin. I grabbed a piece of coffee cake and the wife, an amazing miracle bar. We took both delectable treats and looked for the first coffee shop!

The pumpkin spice latter cupcake is to die for! 🤩 Bummed out they don’t have that as an everyday flavor but there’s other great ones to choose from!

I had a lovely experience!! I needed one gluten free and one regular custom cake. They responded right away and made the process very easy. The cakes were beautiful and delicious (even the people who eat gluten couldn’t tell, which is always a win). Will definitely go back and recommend Happy Bakeshop to others :)
