Good evening. My husband and I came in to your Tennyson shop today for the first time. The food looked amazing as we just had left going to The Pie store down the street. We purchased 2 frozen hand held pies. Cause we wanted them for dinner. We got a Stout and a mushroom, Swiss and ground beef. My husband's was the Stout and it was fabulous. Mine on the other hand was not a mushroom, hamburger Swiss. No hamburger and no Swiss or mushroom. I don't know what it was but it was too spicy for me. It had good flavor but I just can't handle spice. I've Attached photos cause I looked at your menu and can't find this one. I still love your place it just was a downer when I didn't get what I wanted when I bit into it. But, that's life. Hopefully this doesn't happen all the time but I know we are all human and we all Make mistakes. Not really sure what one mine was but shreeded beef, onions and something spicy. I'm sure there are folks out there that will love it. Thank you Angie Garcia

Discovered this place when exploring the area. Lots of different options of pastries to try. Sweet or savory? Hot and ready to eat to frozen to take home for baking later. I got a large variety of frozen. I was offered buy nine and get one free and with the variety of savory ones, that was easy to get almost one of everything. The saleswoman even through in a frozen dessert afterwards. Each are wrapped with name and baking instructions. They say 30-40 minutes but after trying first at 35 I did 40 for all of the savory and they were perfect. The breakout on was the lamb that must have been one of the monthly specials since it wasn’t listed on the menu online. Too bad I couldn’t find anything saying what the monthly special is either on their website or their Instagram so call before you order online I guess. Also the breakfast ones that are frozen only were also really good. The only one that didn’t take and bake well was the dessert. That one burned a bit so maybe try less time in oven, lower temperature or combination of both or just buy there and reheat in an air fryer or toaster oven.

The food was great. I was pleasantly surprised with how light the crust was as well. Lots of options!

We stopped here for a light lunch one nice Colorado day. We have had food from their food truck in the past, but this was the first time we stopped by the brick and mortar location. The pasties are always good here, so you can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. If you haven't had a pasty before, you just have to try one! The pasty is like a hand pie with all sorts of filling options. We had a steak and potato one, which they call, The Miner. The filling is generous, and the sauce is a perfect consistency to hold everything together and add another layer of flavor. The outside pastry is a good balance of flavor and texture. These can be a little messy, but not frustratingly so. I believe they also have some sweet options, but I have only had the more savory items so far. Their place is small and quaint. You choose your pasty, pick-up and pay all at the counter. Inside, they have several small tables and a few high top seating options looking out on Tennyson. They also usually have a table or two set up right outside. It was a lovely day, so we enjoyed our pasty while watching everyone walk by on Tennyson. The staff are friendly and helpful, so it was a wonderful experience. We would feel confident dropping in here anytime.

As a Brit having moved to the US recently I was skeptical to try these pasties but THEY ARE AMAZING. We had the Shepherd and the Cheese and Potato - both were incredible and the Shepherd literally tasted like a Cottage/Shepherd's pie from home. The staff were lovely and they even do frozen, bake at home pasties for when I'm feeling particularly homesick!

I don't even know where to start... I have been a fan of chicken pot pie since I can remember and I have made a couple of mean chicken potpies myself but today I found the holy Grail of chicken pot pie (filled top to bottom and tip to tip) and it's made daily fresh from scratchby young man named Collin at Pastry Republic. Flaky light golden delicious crust Filled with a Great Variety of deliciousness. They have savory pies and they have sweet pies I have them both and it's a win win. Aside from the chicken pot pie I had a very delicious chocolate peanut butter cream cheese filled crust pie and it was to die for. There are going to be a lot of jealous angry grandmas when the find out what this young man can do with baking pies. You guys better be callin' on Collin soon I guarantee you will NOT regret it and you will come back.

I ordered catering for my office for our weekly office lunch meeting and I just have to say Matt was amazing. Despite a hiccup with EzCater he delivered my order in a professional wonderful manner. He was so helpful! Also, this was my first time ordering from Pasty and I've got to say I'm blown away by the quality and portion size. 10/10 would recommend them! I will be adding them to my catering line-up for sure :)

This place is so delicious! I ate the Caretaker. Tasted like a chicken pot pie in a warm fluffy pastry! Don't forget to get a peanut butter chocolate cookie when here. The best warm cookie that melts in your mouth! Very happy to have this place in the neighborhood!

Yum! Fresh, hot and hearty savory pastry for breakfast. The Lamb with Spinach and Feta cheese was delicious! They have sweet pastries too.

Cute little spot to grab a delicious empanada! Very friendly manager. She was great to talk to you about the neighborhood. I had two, one with steak and one with broccoli and cheese. Both delightful and a filling size!
