We stopped in to this location specifically on the banks of the South Platte River in the REI building. This is an awesome use of space - the cafe is large and spacious so you don't feel like you're on top of each other. The outside space and seating is awesome as well! Coffee is good!
Whenever we are meeting up after biking the Cherry Creek trail, this is usually the spot to chill. It is ideally located right overlooking the awesome work they did on Platte River. It is definitely worth the stop and strolling through the rest of REI at the same time is a plus as well.

Great Starbucks right in REI.
TIP: you can’t use the store entrance to get here, you have to use the main entrance that is outside.
Great sandwiches, and probably yummy frapps and delicious bakery items that they have. So good, that I consumed my whole Sausage Cheddar & Egg sandwich in like 10 sec
Perhaps the most unique Starbucks location anywhere, this is located in an old powerhouse along with the largest REI I’ve seen. It overlooks the confluence of the South Platte River and Cherry Creek, both of which have extensive walk/bike path systems. Service is excellent; the building and location
The staff here is honestly the best out of any Starbucks Ive visited. I'm a former barista at multiple types of coffee shops all different types from start up to roaster to corporate and mom and pop stores. The service I receive here has always been personal, kind, and above the call of duty. Especi
I stopped by to get a coffee and I saw an employee working by himself trying to make everyone’s orders (the line was about 11ppl) , he had the best actitud and was very welcoming . Even though some people had angry face in the line I believe his name is AJ HE ROCKS !! Please stop by and tip him 30%
What a beautiful location and view! Please play better ambient music though. Or at least something quieter than boots and cats radio pop it makes it hard to focus
Yes it can get a little busy because of the location and REI but honestly had one of the best barista experiences here! We had a free drink and the person helped us craft this amazing iced brown sugar oatmilk espresso drink SO GOOD!
Whether you sit outside on Confluence Park or inside in the cool hi
Great place to have a Starbucks coffee inside REI's Denver flagstaff building, as shown here.
Starbucks with an amazing view of the Platte river. Can sit indoors or outdoors as of Sep 2020. Right next to REI so you can get your shopping done first and then relax with a cup of Joe. Crazy people will occasionally walk through here, but for the most part it's a vibey sporty millennial-y hangout
OUT OF ALL THE STARBUCKS IVE BEEN IN. THIS INW TAKES IT ALL BEING IN A HISTORIC LOCATION AND MAKE IT STILL FUNCTIONAL IN TODAY'S WORLD..
I WAS VERY IMPRESSED..
HISTORY IS EVERYTHING TODAY...

Love this location! Good, quick service and such a cool atmosphere. This location is connected to REI and you can walk right over through the lobby. Great outdoor patio in the front.
Coffee and food was prepped quickly. The staff was very friendly and the location is in a historical power generator plant which is really cool.
This was definitely placed correctly. It's right on the edge of the South Platte River, such easy access to grab a warm or cold drink and walk or bike the beautiful trails. The service is also great, one of my favorites to go to.
This beautiful Starbucks located by the creek, in a brand new area, in an historic brewery building. If you like Starbucks, you should check it out.
This was a cool find. Really enjoyed the ambiance here!
Love this starbucks. A beautiful location near the river with a nice outdoor patio. Tastefully decorated with historic photos of the building it's located in which it shares with REI. Parking is free for up to two hours in the parking lot right out front. Also accessible from the bike path that runs
