This was a great find! We had tried a couple places along Colfax after visiting the Museum of Science and History (they were closed due to the 4th), and were on the way out of town when we drove past Ranch House, and stopped because there were people in side. We started with chips and salsa. The chips were HOT, we think they made them there, and great. The salsa was excellent, just the right amount of heat, and very tasty. Erin got three ground beef soft tacos, and she ate every bit of them (except the bite I took, which I liked). Raegan got a chicken chimi. That was on outstanding chimi. It was positively stuffed with chicken, and was made with a chili verde that reminded us of the green salsa we’ve had in New Mexico. Great stuff. I ate about 1/3 of her chimi (it was huge), and I think it was the best chimi I have ever had. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was my third really good CFS of this trip. It whad a touch, just a hint, that the oil needed to be changed. But it was mo
My boyfriend and I lived in Denver for half a year, and Ranch House has become our go-to breakfast place. The food is always great, so we like to try something new every time (the gyro sandwich with fried zucchinis has become my favorite though). The service and atmosphere are extremely welcoming and cozy. An amazing place to be a regular at ❤️
Could not be more impressed with this restaurant. Great service, great food, great prices! Looking forward to coming back for breakfast.
No frills diner. The vibes are good, the service friendly, and the food is a great value. Don’t sleep on the omelets smothered in green chili!!!
This place is great for a home cooked meal. Very nice atmosphere. The food is very good.
OMG I loved it. I haven't been there in a while. But it's just as good as it was. I'm a very picky eater and when the cook makes everything perfect it's a blessing. Highly highly recommend this place
Came in for brunch on a Sunday afternoon and sat down right away. Service was fast and attentive. Food was spot on. We got typical diner plates with green chili on them and was not disappointed. Solid all around

I always look for small breakfast places to eat everywhere I travel! This one stays on the list! Just great down home food! Crispy 🥓 bacon they asked if it was crispy enough! Perfect! Toast was actually toast and crispy and waitress was nice and on top of anything you needed! Go eat for sure!
Great food at a good price. Good service. For me, one of the best places to eat in the metro area,
An older restaurant on a street that is not the greatest but the waitress and cook are friendly and I felt like I was in a hometown cafe even though in a major city like Denver. Will definitely be back and will bring friends visiting from out of town. One of those "Hole in the Wall" places that is worth a visit.
The atmosphere was kind of sad because this place looks like it was sinking. My woman had been going here since she was a kid, so I was willing to try it we spent 70 bucks and had enough food to feed a small army (there's one at home). But the food was delicious and the young lady who served us was so patient and nice. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant. I will be going back!
