Review Asada Rico - Denver

O.M.G! The best ever breakfast burrito! Luckily, I struck up a convo with a local that was behind me in line. She suggested ordering it smothered. So I asked her to order for me the way she would. I am so glad I trusted her! Heaven in a Styrofoam box! The green Chile is perfect. And the show while he put it together was entertaining as well. Not only is he easy on the eyes, but he prepared my burrito with love and all the flair of a 5 star chef. I would be here every day if I lived in Denver. Don't be deterred my the line. He is super fast and it's worth the wait.

Three asada steak tacos for $7.50. If you're expecting filet mignon it's not what you're going to get. But for that price, they were very good and seemed extremely authentic. Great choice of toppings and even included a grilled jalapeno on the side. They seem to get extremely busy at lunch time where the line was almost 15 people deep. I went just before 3 pm and still had to wait about 5 minutes.

Best breakfast burrito in the city! Been going here since the cart was on the other side of Stout and it just gets better every year. In addition to killer food quality, Mani is the man! Nothing beats an entrepreneur with attention to detail, pride in his product, and a positive attitude. Half the restaurants in the city don’t treat their guests as well as Mani does.

Can't wait for the new location to open! Hope you are able to get everything upnand running soon, cause these are the best dang burritos I have ever had. I make a trip down to Denver maybe once a month from summit county and love getting the chance to enjoy some of your food. Also for all the haters giving 1 stars for him not being open, come on. I'm sure he has a lot going on right now. How about you rate the actual food he has served, or just be patient and rate it once he is open.

Very good! The owner is awesome and very friendly. Love this place. The green chili iss good with just the right amount of hot. He can get busy with a line, but it's worth the wait.

Best breakfast burrito in Denver. There is no doubt. I've tried all the places....Asada Rico wins every time. I wish I could get my hands on these sweet burritos more often. If you're anywhere close to downtown, don't miss it. Good value, hefty portions, and friendly guy making them. God I want one now....

Manny makes the best breakfast burrito in town! He even has won a few awards through stiff competition for his incredible combination of green chili, cheese, freshly grilled meats and tasty veggies. You might see a line in front of his cart, but let me tell you, it's worth the wait! Make sure to get a fresh burrito to get maximum flavor for your taste buds. Also you can call in your order a head of time if you're ordering for more than yourself. Love Love LOVE this place!

By far the best breakfast burrito, and probably the best burrito I've had. The line can be long and slow, even to process only 10 or 15 people, but that's because they are made fresh to order. Its 100% worth the wait. Make sure you get made to order (as opposed to the pre wrapped) and the potato, that and the homemade tortillas make the burrito. The price is quite inexpensive and the service is very friendly. Regretting not eating there every morning I was in Denver.

Finally got to try this place today and I must say, the vegetarian breakfast burritos are killer! This stand is pretty close to my job and for the past month i've been seeing a line form down the mall every single day, for most of the mornings and mid afternoons and always wondered what the hype was about. I totally get it now. These burritos are fresh and made to order and delicious. Dude was super nice as well. If you're in the city and looking for some really good breakfast burritos, look no further. this is it yall.

Simply put - the service was heartwarming and belly filling. They were actually running late and were not open on time because of the weather. We went to both locations in attempt to try their breakfast burritos and ended up at their location on Federal. A lady came out and let us know that he was running late so we put our heads down to figure out where to grab our breakfast. A minute later, they knocked on our window to ask what we wanted and they would make it there, even while they were late!! We got two breakfast burritos with sausage and bacon. When asking for spicy salsa, they gave us a medium take out contained filled with it! Great tortillas and salsa. Not much else to say for the burrito besides I didn’t end up with a leaky foil at the end. Thanks for the breakfast!

Probably one of my favorite to-go lunch spots! Affordable, tasty, and awesome service! The owner is welcoming, caring, and fast. There is always a line in front of his food stall during lunch break, or even closer to his closing time, that's how good the food is! Had both tacos and burritos (breakfast/lunch) - very fulfilling, flavorful, and authentic. I usually order steak burrito/tacos and he cooks the meat to order so it always tastes so fresh!! He also has music to entertain his customers. Best service ever! Really care about what his customers want.

People tend to have this over-romanticized idea of food trucks, as if their small size and lack of permanent moorings imbue them with a nobility or authenticity that makes the food better. Nah. Food trucks are just small kitchens with wheels, and they can be bad. The breakfast burritos at this place, however, are unbelievably good! The size, the price, the taste -- all top-notch. And the guy working the truck was exactly as personable as I want someone at breakfast time: Very nice, but not overly solicitous.

My bro brought me here when I was visiting. He had talked about how amazing these burritos are for years, and I finally got to try...and it was DELICIOUS! One of the best burritos I've had. Great food, great service! It's totally worth the wait!

Editing my previous review. Thank you for the reply. The next time I’m in Colorado I would definitely stop by. Please make sure to update your working hours in Google. I’m pregnant and I was looking forward to having the very delicious breakfast burrito. It says it’s open so I drove to the new location in Federal but it was closed. I tried to call no answer. The burrito is outstanding but as another reviewer stated it’s not reliable that’s I’m giving it one star.

Best breakfast burritos you can possibly find! Thankfully I work on 16th Street so this is an easy place for me to frequent. The price for the size is amazing! They're made to.order so you can customize how you want! Mine are always so big that I have to split them and eat them for two days! Also, the guy that works there is super nice and friendly too. I couldn't say a bad thing about this place! Definitely give them a try!

Oh my goodness Rico is hilarious and personable. The burritos are fantastic and definitely taste homemade. Plus, they're huge for the price. For as long as the line was, and a one man operation, service was pretty quick. All the ladies at my building went nuts when I said I went there because "Rico is easy on the eyes."

DELICIOUS breakfast burritos! So worth the wait! I went here every single day I was in town. Manny is awesome, friendly and even remembered my order. I highly recommend this little spot, it's my new favorite breakfast in Denver!

Excellent breakfast burritos at a great price - best of anywhere I've ever been. The tortillas make the burrito because they are hand-made, which is very difficult to find. All of the other burritos I've eaten downtown are like what you buy out of the grocery store - generic, tasteless. One problem: It take about 20-25 minutes to process 10 people. So, they need to up-size to handle their success. Otherwise, you're forced to buy 2 so you can avoid the line. Suggestion: Add chicken to the menu and I'll eat there breakfast and lunch.
