Great local bar with a super friendly staff and good food. Plenty of screens to watch the game, good beer selection, and great atmosphere. There is a bar section where it is loud and fun, and a dining section if you want a good meal without the excitement. Bartender was excellent and on top of everything from my drink order to the food. I had a Mickey's Top Sirloin steak for dinner that was good, but the stuffed mashed potatoes were excellent! This is not a high end steak place, but you will get a good steak for a good price.

Our first visit there, and DENISE made it feel like home. The steak and sides were fabulous, and the "Kathy's Margarita" is now my favorite margarita in Denver, AND packs a punch! Sweet and easy. They have rooms for groups, American, Mexican, and Italian food, and a kids menu. It's been a local establishment for 60 years! Come support a hard earned legacy.

I decided to try this restaurant, which has a long history in north Denver. Started as a farm stand and grocery store. Then a restaurant serving Italian food and later added Mexican and steak.
I don’t often eat steak these days so tried their chicken enchilada with green chili sauce and a beer at the bar. The enchilada was very good. Beer from tap was cold. The place feels like a small town restaurant in a big city. Staff were super friendly. Prices were extremely reasonable. I really enjoyed it and would go back again.

I took my nephew and family here for his first birthday! The staff were amazing. They were super friendly and the bartender even came to my table to ask me how I preferred my drink. She offered suggestions on different types of drinks and made me a delicious drink. Our waitress Fern, really took care of us while we were there. The steaks and burritos were outstanding. All the food was hot and flavorful. I was visiting my brother from Philly and will certainly be back. Not to mention, the prices were very reasonable for a steakhouse. Check this place out! You won’t be disappointed.

Pretty decent. Love the gorgonzola crusted sirloin, baked potato is solid. Salad is mediocre just bag mix two pepperoni and a cucumber chunk. Some tomato would have made it better. Dinner rolls are 1000% a no for me. It was dry and cold and crumbly. The butter wouldn't even spread on it. Server was pleasant, atmosphere good and they got us seated and our order out pretty quick. Ordered medium and it was a Lil too rare for me but still ate it. My dads rib eye was a Lil grissly which he wasn't a fan of but after cutting it off it was ok even though he lost a good portion of the steak. He said the prime rib was better the last time we went :)

This place was a huge pleasant surprise. Our steaks were great at an awesome price! They offer a sampler platter for first time guests that was above and beyond expectations. We look forward to visiting again!

So my 7 y/o daughter and I ate at Mickey's last night for the first time. The place is very unassuming; but from the moment we walked in the door, we were treated especially well. The young lady that seated us was very friendly and engaged my daughter in pleasant conversation about her school while we walked to the table. The waitress, Alyssa, arrived immediately and took our drink order. I needed to run back to my truck for a moment and Alyssa made me very comfortable about leaving my daughter stating she would look after her. I was only gone about 3 minutes, but when I returned, one of the managers, Shelly, was at our table talking to my daughter making sure she was fine & entertained in my absence. From there on it continued to be a great experience. Alyssa helped us decide what to order and was perfectly attentive throughout the meal. The food arrived in an appropriate time frame and was very good. Shelly made several rounds through the dining room checking on every table. My daughter and I had a great experience overall and will certainly be back regularly.

This little off the beaten path steak restaurant is wonderful. I ordered a blackened Mickey’s sirloin and it was one of the best cuts I have ever had. All hand cut beef and cooked and seasoned splendidly.
I decided to skip the restaurant side and instead ate in the bar. Ally, my server, was at the top of her game. So professional with a unique sense of humor but most importantly; she loves where she works and is definitely an asset to the team.
I will definitely be back on my next trip to Denver.

This was our first time here, and it was absolutely amazing. Our server, Meghan, was extremely nice and helpful with all of our questions. We both got the fillet, which was cooked to perfection! Bonus, they make everything in-house daily, including cutting the meat themselves! Would highly recommend this place for any occasion!

I couldn't wait to get get back to my hotel and review this place! I found them on a Google search for 'restaurants near me" and decided it would fit the bill. The bartender Allie (sp?) is my first 3 stars. She was friendly, fun and welcoming. I sat there to eat as well. Her engagement with every patron was textbook perfect on what a bartender should be. I ordered a taco salad...🤌 Chef's kiss on taste and presentation. I ordered the skillet cookie to go and it is incredible. Portion size here is more than adequate. I didn't even look at my bill before paying because I would have paid anything. I am in town for work and my coworker has been wanting a steak. I cannot wait to come back for a ribeye! This place should absolutely be every Denver residents favorite spot!

Reminds me of the neighborhood steak houses from years past, the restaurant is not going to win design awards, but that's not why you go here. You go here for a pure, delicious, steak that's perfect just the way it should be. And our server Shelly, took really great care of us., including a sampler of a variety of their dishes when we told her it was our first time there.

My husband has been raving about this place for years! He took me for the first time with our kids today and it lived up to the hype! Super friendly staff and amazing food. My kids loved the burgers, the steak and mashed potatoes and green chili were all delicious! Will definitely come back!

If you want really good food without the gastronomic arrogance that usually comes with a quality restaurant, look no further. Great appetizers, entrees, and drinks, no attitudes. Mickey's is halfway across Denver from my apartment, and even with the cost of a Lyft home, I still consider it worth the trip.

It was a quiet Saturday afternoon the day after my birthday! Our server was fairly knew and on her last day of training. I appreciated the fact that the manager was there to help her! She was very sweet! I get my steak well done and it was perfect, still juicy, and tasted great! Can't wait to go back!

Mickey's has been in business for over 50 years and there's good reason for that.
I am not sure if I can find anything not to like here. They have plenty of varied seating in a casual, and comfortable environment. They also have a big parking lot, and large variety of food from Italian classics to Mexican dishes, and of course steaks!!
We recently came for lunch and had such a great experience. Antanette was the best server we have had in a while and the manager stopped by to check on us too.
They have a marinated top sirloin which is a must. The marinade is different every day and usually only available after 4pm. However, you may get lucky if you are there for lunch so definitely inquire. The marinade the day I was there was Hawaiian, which was pineapple, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. Delicious flavor that was just the right touch. I got the Mac and cheese for my side which was perfectly portioned and creamy. It also came with soup or salad. I got salad which came in a chilled bowl and was really fresh.
My hubby got the lunch steak which was really great also and the seasoned steak fries.
The cocktails here are reasonably priced too. I got an apple Manhattan for $8.50 and it was delightful. We will definitely be returning to try more of the menu. Maybe we will even check out the bocce court next time.

Great food great staff awesome family history. On top of that the price was very good. The surf and turf was perfect the shrimp didn't even smell or taste fishy like it was old or something. The waitress was exceptional very attentive, deftly going back.
Only slight comment which doesn't take away from the experience is the awesome family pictures in your lobby should have names and dates on them.

I have been coming here for 21 years . It was always great a home when I was a apprentice and I have wonderful memories. After it sold to the new owner it has gone down hill. The food is always wrong and the staff is disappointing. I have not been there is a few months but today I thought I would try again , still disappointed. How sad I loved that place .

Went there on 11-11-17 for dinner a group of 4. To start we orders 2 beers which and two 2 for $5 margaritas. We ended up complaining about the margs. because they missed the tequila portion of the margs so they brought us two shots for the 4 margs problem solved right! We'll get to that problem later. Then we proceeded to order dinner which to started walk away from the table before took everyone's order. We then get or food and proceed to wait for utensils when we decided to take them from the table next to ours. Well let's cut to the chase 1 out of the 4 meals were correct sent one back to be fixed. Two the meals were prime rib ordered medium rare seasoned and seared and the other medium. We received medium well and well done neither seasoned and seared. Ordered onions and mushrooms for one which cost $5. The spaghetti sat in puddles of water & ordered tastes meatballs and sausage that never arrived until asked for again. At this point it's time to leave and get the bills. What do you know they charged us for the tequila that should of been in margs. So instead of providing my usual 20% tip for sub par service they received 10% and I would consider the other 10% to go toward the tequila they charged us for. Keep in mind our combined bill for 4 was well over $100. I will never go back that's for sure!

We are from Kansas City and it was my families first time at Mickey’s. Lots of great food to choose from. My wife’s chilles rellenos were the best she’s had in a long time!
Sports bar on 1 side and restaurant on the other. Service was very good and close to Highway 36 and I 25.

My companions and I were plotting a scenario to kidnap the chef and waterboard until we got the recipe for the garlic sauce used on the tenderloin. The breads and salads were very plain but fresh and good. The steak is obviously the focus and was exceptional.

They give the project healing waters for vets a room for the monthly meetings. Most if us order dinner there. Not a lot of beer drinking since we have to drive home. Good and service akways great. Friendly smiling waitresses who work their tails off. Thank you to management.
