One word: AMAZING! I'm beyond stoked that this new restaurant brought life back into the space that formerly housed Patsy's Italian Restaurant for nearly a century. The owner, Betsy, and her staff are wonderful, the food is fantastic and drink list enticing! Exited to make this a regular place for brunch, lunch, dinner or just drinks. They also have a fantastic patio and are building a sensory garden for the littles = fun for the whole family!

What an amazing transformation from the old Patsy’s... Absolutely gorgeous space, very caring staff and a great menu. I always loved the Hornet, but this place far exceeded my expectations. Definitely will become a work lunch and after work happy hour spot!

This place is absolutely amazing! Sometimes a gluten sensitivity can be problematic when dining out. Acova has nearly endless options for those sensitive to gluten, including the MOST AMAZING apple donuts. Absolutely phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend. I'll be back soon (and often)!

The atmosphere was very nice. Good music at an appropriate level. We were seated right away by our server. We got there at about 4pm on Thursday Aug 31st. That was during happy hour (3-6). We were brought water immediately and got a couple appetizers and cocktails. We ordered our entrees and they came out at a decent time after our appetizers. Everything tasted amazing. It was visually pleasing and very flavorful. Our server was very attentive and polite. I would love to come back and try some desserts and other items on the menu. One thing to note is that we did not have a reservation and were given a two hour window to be there. This wasn’t an issue because service was attentive and quick. We also did not feel rushed. Definitely recommend!!!

Okay this is a SPOT. They have all kinds of seating - outdoor area, bar area, and a gorgeous dining room. The vibe is amazing. The service was phenomenal - attentive but not too over bearing. Food and drinks were a hit! We got their chocolate torte for dessert and it was a perfect end to the meal. We will absolutely be back!

We had an excellent meal! The food was delicious and they have a extensive gluten free menu. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, full bar and beautiful atmosphere. Well done!

Very good! It's a cool, lively spot, reasonable pricing and friendly service. We started with grilled romaine, which was pretty disappointing. However, Crabcakes and Acova Burger were very good. Loved the touch of blue cheese, the perfect amount not to overpower the dish. The french fries were tasty, too! We really wanted to try desserts, but we'd need to order appetizers only to have any space left :) That might happen next time... Lots of gluten free options, all clearly marked as either gluten free or gluten free available. GF bun on the burger was very tasty.

The fried chicken was really good and well cooked. The sides with it were bland and the mashed potatoes were dry. The sausage gravy was also bland and unseasoned. The calamari was my favorite dish by far. I was most excited for the cobbler for dessert and when it came out the topping was baked black. We took one bite but the burnt topping made it inedible and so bitter. I’m actually kinda surprised this dish passed a look to serve. Overall really kind staff and lovely atmosphere but the cooking seems hit or miss.

Phenomenal. Everything was fantastic, from the atmosphere to the service to the food. Honestly, it was the best way to spend a birthday dinner before a great concert. We wound up getting the sauted calamari for an appetizer and was surprised in all the right ways. Well cooked, flavorful, perfect kick off to a great meal. All the dinner items looked great, but I had a rough burger the day previously, so I had to scratch the itch with something better. Perfectly cooked, right temperature, amazing blend of flavors from the smokey taste of the meat to the hits of maple and blue cheese. Every bite was a new experience. Got the fries on the recommendation of our host. It was definitely the right choice. Wrapped it up with an affogato and berry cobbler. Couldn't recommend either choice enough. The berries were fresh, sweet, and plump, and it was just the right way to end a meal. The affogato was a perfect blend of everything that's good in the world. I will definitely be coming back and recommending Acova to anyone I know who winds up visiting Denver.

Great spot, especially during 5280 restaurant week. The staff are all attentive and help each other out throughout the service. The cocktail menu is diverse with nice variations on classic cocktails. The beer menu offers a local selection that’s equally opportunistic. As for the food, there’s likely something for everyone. I appreciate the fusion of what seems to be Asian, Spanish, and southern comfort. Haven’t had anything I didn’t like. Enjoy!

Pretty good. Layout and atmosphere is modern and chill. Decent service. Food was good, but not amazing. Would eat here again. Bonus points for having gluten-free options for my wife.
