Michelle did our cake and desert bar for my daughter’s wedding on 10/28/23. We had a snow storm come through that weekend and she delivered as promised even though it was quite a drive from Denver. She personally came to venue and set it all up for us. Everything was delicious and looked beautiful. A pleasure to work with and very very reasonable pricing, especially her big cakes. I couldn't recommend them higher! They are on time, reasonably priced, the flavor is exquisite, and their beauty is second to none! I would recommend them for any occasion: birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, holidays, etc. They go out of their way to make everything above and beyond perfect! They do not disappoint! Oh and their fondant is not hard or dry; it's a delight to eat and nibble on! You will enjoy eating not only the amazing cake, but the decor as well! 🤍
Michelle and her team were phenomenal and I couldn’t have been happier with our cake! From start to finish she was attentive, professional, accommodating, and just an expert! Gateaux came highly recommended and I’m so thankful we were able to eat their delicious cake! Only wish is that I wanted all of their options—but she gave me the chocolate cake and the vanilla cake (with so many different icings inside) in our multi-tiered cake. It was beautiful, elegant, and everyone commented on how it was the best wedding cake they have tasted! We had 160 people and we had just enough leftover to share with some people after the reception. 10/10 recommend! Michelle is a stellar owner and person in general 😊

Michelle (baker, owner) and her sister were a delight to work with for our wedding and grooms cake, and both turned out better than we could have ever hoped for. Many guests told us how this was the best cake they’ve ever had at a wedding! Also - if you’re from Houston area and you miss Common Bond…. This is your place!
Excellent little bakery in Denver. Stopped in to pickup BDay cake and was pleasantly overwhelmed with the variety, colorful, tempting selection of cakes, pastries, treats, and snacks. If not for the pandemic, the space would also be a nice place to enjoy your fresh baked goods. Settled on the Lemon Cream Torte with candied lemons. It was a hit with my fam - not too sweet but bursting with fresh lemon flavor. What I also bought: mini tarts - Bananas Foster, Orange Creamsicle, Pink Ladies, and Tiffany Petit Four. All these were fresh, flavorful and memorable. Next time, gotta try the Apricot Grande Marnier torte. In case I wasn't clear, I REALLY LIKE GATEAUX.
UPDATE - I ordered the Grande Marnier torte cake and it did not disappoint. Decoration was flawless and flavors were terrific.
Gateaux is amazing. We walked from our hotel at 6 am to buy our daughter a birthday cake. It was a $55 funfetti cake. It was Delicious! Every item is crafted masterfully. The eggnog cheesecake was so lovely, thick and creamy. I dreamt of that cheesecake!
I can’t get over how great they did on our wedding cake and cupcakes. They were really great to work with and it tasted great too. :)
As just a fat kid who loves sweets, this is the spot.
Then we trusted them with our wedding cake and it was one of the highlights of my wedding and this bakery will always hold a spot in my heart.
Ps they don't have you freeze your cake topper, we were just given a free cake for our 1 year anniversary and it was just as delicious as the day we got married.
Gateaux Bakery absolutely knocked it out of the park for my son’s Hamilton themed birthday cake. I phoned one week prior and spoke to Danielle, who was simply amazing. We talked about my vision, I sent a few pictures via email and she created a phenomenal cake which was so beautiful we almost didn’t want to cut it!! But we are so glad we did! It was equal parts beauty and deliciousness. The cake was moist and flavorful with the perfect amount of sweetness. Seriously one of the best cakes we have ever eaten. The ladies here are so talented, Gateaux is a true gem.
Beyond amazing service for my sons first birthday! I emailed pictures of cakes and cookies I wanted made and then spoke with an employee over the phone to talk through the order. Not only did they deliver, but everything looked even better than the pictures I found online. Our guests and I were blown away! Everything was delicious. I will certainly be back!
