Mataam Fez Moroccan Restaurant - Denver - Photo album

OMG. How have I lived around the corner from this place for so long and not've been here?!! Belly dancing, the atmosphere... So much fun! Pictured - Course 4 of 5: leg of lamb with a delicious honey and almond glaze and apricots; traditional cous cous dish with lamb and vegetables. 😋
This is a fantastic restaurant. It is the kind of Moroccan restaurant where all the seating is on pillows on the floor. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, inviting, and authentic. The servers are super friendly and attentive and the food is wonderful. There is a belly dancer who performs a few times
I love this place! The experience is amazing, as is the food! I've never eaten anything here (with my hands) that I did not like. Sitting on pillows, finger food, and belly dancers... How could it get better? The portions are plenty and you even get your hands washed at the beginning and end of your
Its an amzing place to eat. Ive been going there for over 10 years. I love their food and the atmosphere.
What a wonderful experience! I've had Moroccan food before, but this place had some of the most flavorful and delicious entrees that I've ever had. The soup, salads, meal, and dessert were all perfect. The service was very attentive. I got the lamb made with honey, nuts, and apricots. My partner h
This is one of the most unique dining experiences you can have. Every time I come here I bring friends, and every time they are very nervous and uneasy about the idea. And every single time, they rave and rave about how awesome it was and thank me for bringing them here. I only end up eating here ev
5 course meals, so only go if you are hungry. You eat with your hands, that's fun. Most of the seating is on the floor on pillows, so if you have bad knees you may want to rethink this option. Though it is delicious. Roughly $30/meal, so not a cheap night out.
We had an excellent time at Mataam Fez, our first visit as a large family with children six to 11-years-old and the food, service and ambience was amazing. We all enjoyed eating with our hands, seated on the sumptuous cushions on the carpeted floor. We really felt transported to Morocco, the music,
Very good Moroccan food. Sitting on the floor in the front was great and they had belly dancers. Food was fantastic. I had the lamb mechoui. All the courses were great. The price was good for the experience and the food was worth it.
I ate here first circa 1985 - an awesome experience, as I had never had traditional Moroccan food. The ambiance, the service, the food - all was amazing! We are traveling thorough Aurora, CO this summer and can not wait to enjoy the culinary enchantment of Mataam Fez!
