Gumbo's - Denver - Photo album

Cozy place. Easy to find but tricky to find parking. Gumbo was delicious and so was the Beignets. Staff are friendly, props to Andre.
This place is off the hook! Gary the Chef/owner made some incredible food. I had their catfish dinner and gumbo. The presentation was really good and the flavor was great. Great ambiance makes for a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We dined here before a concert at The Ogden. The wine list had a nice selection. The gumbo and red beans and rice were both very tasty. I ordered the blackened chicken which had the right amount of heat without being overly spicy. My friend had a shrimp PoBoy and thought it was one of the best he's
Out for a walk on a Thursday evening and just happened to stop in on the way home. Discovered one of those sweet little places you add to your list of neighborhood favorites. Good cajun for sure. Tentative knowledgeable staff offering sound suggestions. Relaxing music. Relaxing vibe on the patio. I'
Exceptional all the way around. Started with the shrimp sliders, andouille sausage then moved on to the roasted beet salad, collared greens, seafood dirty rice, cheddar grits then finished with the key lime pie paired with the 20-year tawny port. Delectable. Savory. Delicious! Can't recommend enough
I just found this place again since I was not aware that they had moved. I'm so glad they are still around and the new place is much more casual and welcoming. If you like Cajun food you need to go here immediately like I did. The Gumbo is the best I have ever had.
If you like Cajun food, you'll love gumbos. Only complaint would be that the catfish (on my po' boy) didn't exactly taste fresh. Also not a kids menu, but served up some great fried shrimp for the kids a la carte.
We were craving some seafood and have the 2015 Denver Restaurant Passbook, so we decided to give Gumbo's a try Friday night. We arrived around 7:45 and got a table for 2 right away. Based on the earlier reviews, I had pretty high expectations, and they were surpassed. Hands down one of the best dinn
Tough to find parking on a Friday nigh but its well worth the effort! I'm from the Gulf Coast so it was nice to find a local place with authentic food. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the restaurant isn't too big or too small, and the bill was surprisingly modest. All in all I would highly
I've had a pleasant and relaxing dining experience every time I have gone here... I am a big fan of New Orleans food - I've flown Denver to N.O. JUST TO EAT FOR A WEEKEND! Anyway, Gumbos is super good. The gumbo, the crawfish etoufee and the blackened cat fish are my favs..go for happy hour and s
One of my favorite Denver restaurants. I never made it when they were located downtown, but the atmosphere and coziness of their current spot make for such a special experience that I think it couldn't have been any more enjoyable in their previous incarnation.
Great service, very good Cajun food. We all enjoyed our drinks and meals. Gumbo, crab cakes and fried green tomatoes a few of the things we tried, all very delicious.
Absolutely the best food in Denver. Exceptional New Orlean's style fare that is always consistent. We have never had a meal not meet expectations and very reasonable prices.
The Shrimp Po-Boy is out of this world! I have celebrated the vast majority of their menu and never been disappointed. Great staff, friendly service!
