A hidden gem along Colorado Blvd, there's only one other Kokoro and you have to head north to Arvada.
I love the concept of a fast casual Japanese restaurant, it's perfect. The Chicken Karaage is only $5 and a crowd favorite. The udon noodles (they call them splash noodles) is packed with flavor and such a great craving satisfier.
The exterior is not great and the interior feels like a scene from 1950. But aside from that, there's a reason it's a hidden gem.

Feeling famished after a long day of driving and Kokoro really hit the spot! This is a budget friendly Japanese restaurant. The food is quite simple and good quality. My favorite was the splash, which is udon noodle soup. The servers were all very friendly.

Literally been going here for over 30 years. The one thing that really brings us back is the service. Everyone is so friendly and wants to know you. Most customers are regulars, and the staff is the reason why.
The food is also fresh and delicious. There is nothing on the menu that I would not recommend.
Great place to bring your family, and kids do great there. There are a lot of great options for kids and vegetarians to eat.

I’ve been coming here since I was kid, the food is never short of amazing, and the service is quick and friendly! Love the server who has been there for years, and the book store next store. Bought a crewneck at my last visit and it is my new favorite! It’s comfortable and the perfect fit. If Kokoro bowl is around they will always have Atleast one fan, me!!

Authentic Japanese menu with something for everyone. Food is delicious and feels homemade with fresh ingredients. The kitchen does quick work, and the service is always friendly. Low-key, no frills atmosphere with a distinctly Japanese casual style.

This is my first visit to Kokoro bowl, and it was excellent! I will be back – in fact, it will be a regular stop. I do love, rice, bowls, and Kokoro has got lots of them. Additionally, our waitress was a hoot! She was fun to talk to!

This place is delicious. My wife has been coming here for years but just recently took me for my first time. The beef bowl was so good. Plus add some ginger and spice to it. The staff is very friendly. I definitely recommend trying it!

Having visited Japan, I can say 100% Kokoro is as authentic as it gets. So delicious, affordable and fast. The unagi, tempura and beef bowls are my favorite but everything here is so good! Authentic and delicious, all for a great price? Why wouldn't you want to eat here??

This is and has been my favorite place for over. 2 decades. The food is still amazing. I've tried just about everything on the menu and it is all so delicious. The staff and atmosphere are great; personable, warm, and friendly. Plus your food comes within 5 minutes or so. If you have not eating here you're missing out. Highly, strongly, absolutely recommend.

For both dine in and take out/ drive through I have never really had a bad experience with this place. Food wise I wouldn't rate it as "top notch" it's not a fine dining sushi place, but definitely not bad. It's tasty and the staff is super nice the atmosphere is always chill and nice. I have been coming here for almost 8 years and I will definitely continue to do so!
