Review Dae Gee - Denver

Fun Korean BBQ place. A good variety of side dishes and meats. Note though, they bring everything out at once at first. If you want only specific meats, be sure to ask for those before they bring anything out. After that you can order seconds of whatever you like. Favorite stuff was the rib eye beef and the pork!

Great food, great experience. My husband and I got bibimbap hot pots. Surprised to get small plates of all the sides with our dinner order. Everything was yummy and they asked if we wanted more of any of the sides. It was great to taste them all. Next time, we would definitely try one of the grill meals (as we got a peek at some of those near us and it looked and smelled great).

First time that we had Korean BBQ. We had a table with a grill in it. When they brought the various meats, they were raw so that we could cook them on our grill. Great experience, but pricey when you select the "unlimited" option.

I will definitely be coming back. Almost light need to make it monthly drive~ Loved the food. Very good meat! All you can eat SO SO worth it! Thanks so much! Sorry for the after ate food pictures. But I'm sure we had at least four bowls or more of meat. They asked us at consistent times if we needed anything else. Appetizers , meat, all included in price! 2 hours ^w^ Much yes!~

If you like Korean BBQ this is a good option. One recommendation- just make sure you’re hungry because you get a ton of food and it’s UNLIMITED. We couldn’t get to the second round, we were stuffed. If you want seafood you have to order separately. The ribs I think are the best and for that reason it’s not unlimited. All other meats are. Service was accommodating and very friendly. Overall food was good. Get an extra tong because you don’t want to touch uncooked raw meat with cooked or you’ll pay for it later. Check out this place very reasonable for the price.

I got the hook soup and the bee bim bhop rice with short ribs. Both were delicious and the meal comes hot and sizzling so be careful not to touch the stone bowl. Comes with lots of condiments. I especially liked how the rice on the bottom of the bowl becomes golden brown and crispy, just how I like it.

I had so much fun here with my boyfriend. We didn't know that the place would allow us to cook the food in front of us on the table. I always wanted to do something fun like this. You have to check this place out and see for yourself. I suggest you find parking on the opposite side on the streets as right in front of the building might not be the best option for parking.

While it's different than traditional Korean BBQ this place is an amazing alternative, with great platters. You really should do the grill your own meat: the sides, meat, sauce, and rice are delicious and its fun to have cooked it yourself. My boyfriend got bibimbap and liked it but the fun of grilling in the middle of the table and cutting the meat with the scissors is the whole purpose of this style of restaurant! One platter fed us perfectly, so you should think of the price as for two people. We didn't do "all you can eat" because it was just two of us, and we were only going to be there an hour. If you're like us get a platter (the piggy platter is featured here)

Kbbq is always a fun experience to eat at! Servers were great and provided awesome service! Portion sizes were appropriate and prices were reasonable. Only complaint was the kimchi tasted off at this location…not freshly made or fermented.

DAE GEE Korean BBQ isnt your typical Korean BBQ. You can tell it is slightly Americanized but everything with a twist and turn in tradition isn't bad. Personally, due to me being a pescetarian I wasn't able to try the meat platter porition but my party seemed to have enjoyed her meal. She said some of the beef cuts weren't marinated all that well but the rest of the meat were. Although, they provide meat scissors it didn't help much with the large chucks they give you and the grill itself too quite the time to cook the meat so don't come to late or you won't be able to finish cooking. Now for my entree I ordered the Tufo Stew. My goodness that stew was beyond one of the most dishes I've tried in quite some time. Apparently, Guy Fieri featured the Kimchi Stew and that was the hit for this establishment. If it was anything like the Tufu Stew; you'll need to try this as soon as possible! The staff was a bit underwhelmed (seemed short staffed) but very helpful, tentive and amazing nonetheless. Prices were reasonable and the means sizes were a super large portion even with the unlimited Korean BBQ. Be mindful that you want be able to take what you don't finish home with the unlimited.

Had the unlimited bbq for dinner so we were seated at a table with a grill. Cool experience to grill your own meat at the table! Chadol (brisket), chicken dumplings, and the spicy pork bulgogi were my favorites of the grilled meats. The cucumber kimchee and fish cakes were also tasty. Feel like there could have been more veggies, but the ones we had were good. Dinner is a bit pricy, so make sure you come hungry for the unlimited bbq.

All the food was interesting and different - the sides especially. In fact, the food was mysterious and puzzling. it was all quite tasty, too. I just didn't ever quite know what I was eating! It had been explained on the menu, of course, but after ordering the menu was taken away. Okay, that is a slight exaggeration. After all, one of the side dishes was broccoli and I recognized that. And the potato salad. I recognized that, too. The broccoli had been grilled (I think) in sesame oil, and was very tasty. The potato salad had a sweet edge, and I would have gladly eaten more. Some of those other sides, however, were mysterious to me, and it is only now, from home, that I can look on their website and recognize that one was kimchee jun and another was a pickled radish. This is the challenge and the delight of trying foreign foods and dishes from other cultures. At times, you may be merely confused, but there are other times, more special times, when your mouth explodes and your senses are overwhelmed and you find yourself enchanted by something quite new. Perhaps you find there’s a tiny part of yourself, previously unknown, that is part Korean, or Indian, or African. That’s a lovely discovery to make! While I was a bit lost during the meal, I nonetheless enjoyed everything, the sides, the sauces, and the main dish. I had scallops, by the way – and they were prepared and presented in a way that was quite familiar. I look forward to returning, and to becoming more familiar with Korean cuisine. I might ask if I can keep the menu after ordering next time!

Fantastic Korean BBQ 🍖. Order an entree, or do what’s better. Better ? Yes get all your sides pick your meats or seafood, and cook then yourself with built in electric ⚡️ table grill. If you want for $4 more go ‘Unlimited’ and get all of them, and as much as you like. Everything is fresh, spotless, and the staff is super friendly!

Fabulous and filling! The soups and entrees are delicious, satisfying, and authentic with a modern twist. With the purchase of an entree or unlimited bbq you also get unlimited sides. The sides offer a wide variety of taste sensations - crispy and slightly sour pickles radish, spicy kimchee, sweet and creamy potato salad, soft fish cakes, and much more. A wonderful culinary experience I can't wait to repeat in the future!
