Patzcuaro's is one of the OG Northside Mexican food joints. It's a survivor amidst the ravaging gentrification that's been happening over the past 10 years. The food is legit, I love their Milanesa. My wife loves their enchiladas. My mom went for a basic tostada. All on point. The margaritas were just OK, but I was grooving on the Palomas. Highly recommend this place.

Nice little restaurant with amazing food! I was very satisfied with the carnitas plate. My wife got the Milanesa con Papas. She enjoyed it but took a bite of my carnitas and said she would get that next time. Beer was cold, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back.

The food is incredible! It's so simple yet tasty. It feels homemade. They don't try to dress it up or be fancy like many other "Mexican" restaurants. The coronarita was great. I got the Carnitas Michoacan Plato and it was fantastic. They also have TVs so you can watch a game and relax on their patio. Also, free chips and salsa (spicy!) - can't be that.

I used to come to this place when I was in high school. I am so sad that I haven’t been coming here more often. This place is a hidden gem. It’s been open for about 40 years. The customer service is amazing. I love the fact that they have a variety of servers that are all genders and ages!! Please try the Carnitas because they made my mouth water for days. That salsa with the chips was unique and tasty !!Everything was so delicious!! Can’t wait to go back!!

Flauta as a meal was filling for my husband. The carne aldovada was tasty and A LOT. This is a good go-to for more than serviceable Mexican food in a friendly environment. The beans and rice are not inspired, really. That seems like something fixable. Photo of half the meal that I separated at the outset so I wouldn’t overeat.

As a new bee to the US, this is the first authentic Mexican restaurant that we visited in Denver. The food was excellent with a rich Mexican flavor and the service was very lovable. My family liked it and would surely recommend it. The staff was very kind enough to explain the menu as this was our first time. 5 stars for both service & tasty food. Plenty of vegetarian options available!

This is the Real Deal! Great place. Googled best Mexican food in Denver and this place did not disappoint. The chips were fresh and warm, the green salsa was delicious. I ordered the combo plate and my wife chose the chicken flautas. SO GOOD. Everything is fresh and authentic. The team of servers and support staff are all top-notch.

So this was our first time to visit Pátzcuaro's, after it being recommended. We obviously had to try the carnitas plate. We shared and the portion size was perfect. The carnitas are absolutely not to be passed on. The flavor was perfect, the spice level was spot on and an all round great meal! We will return! BTW, awesome hot sauce!
Update: so for our second visit we decided to share the Albañil taco plate. The plate arrived hot off of the grill. The steak was perfect, sliced thin and very tasty with the onions and jalapenos. The potatoes added a bit of texture and we're very flavorful. We will continue to return here, for sure!

I'm not sure why I haven't reviewed before, but have been visiting over the past 15 years, mostly Sunday lunchtime. This place is a zoo, absolutely crazy busy, but these guys are so efficient. The food...why do you think I keep going back?

Stumbled upon Patzcuaros after shopping in Highlands and was SO HAPPY I did! We got the 4 carbon taco plate and split between 2 of us. Reminds me of the good tacos I used to get in Texas 😍 Delicioso!!!! Service was amazing!

What a amazing local Mexican restaurant in Lo Hi. The salsa is a rare green style and the food was amazing. I really enjoyed the house margaritas and their signature carnitas. All this at a great value.

Food was incredible! We had Huevos Rancheros, Enchiladas Rojas, a carnitas plate, and bean tostada. They were extremely busy so service was a bit slow but once we ordered our food was at our table very quickly. The chips and salsa were amazing as well. We will definitely be back!

I love everything about this place… The food is fantastic, staff is always friendly, and smiling, the atmosphere hasn’t changed for years with the exception of the addition to the outdoor space, which is truly fantastic. Keep it up!

Solid and inviting neighborhood Mexican. The adovada taco was a standout, with a nice crisp and a ton of flavor. Handmade tortillas were bomb. Also had the chile verde plate which didn't dissapoint. The free chips and salsa were a little mild.

I recently enjoyed dining at Patzcuaro's Mexican Restaurant in Denver, and I have to tell that their seafood selections completely wowed me! With its amazing seafood experience, this hidden gem infuses the Mile High City with a hint of coastal flavor that is sure to tempt your taste buds.
I was enthralled by the restaurant's cozy and welcoming atmosphere the moment I walked in. The staff gave me a warm welcome and was happy to show me around their extensive seafood buffet. They created a memorable dining experience right away with their excitement and expertise of the menu items.

My daughter and I have been coming to this restaurant since the early 80's and although we have both moved away, whenever we are in the area it is a favorite! Wonderful people, food and atmosphere!

I will always remember the first time I took a bite of food here. Some of the best stuff I’ve ever eaten. Amazing people, good vibes, and great margaritas.

It's ok. Patzcuaro is practically a landmark in the neighborhood. They were an ok restaurant but now, not so much. The meats are dry and overcooked. The service is ok but don't look for friendly here.

The worse Mexican food restaurant in Denver, it's truly a DISGRACE to the Mexican food. The good had no flavor and the service was even worse. I had the worst margarita ever. EL PEOR Restaurante Mexicano en Denver!

AmaZing!!! You will not regret this choice!

I Like the Place. A bit divey, a bit simple, a bit uncomplicated. The food is good though. The rita's fine enough. It's not like eating at some toney park avenue resto. It's a little place serving fine grub. Try it.

What has happened to you?. Seven of us met for dinner. Only tables for 4. No large tables. 3 of us ordered the Enchiladas Rojas and a small guac. Margaritas all around. The enchiladas were like string cheese wrapped in a cold tortilla. No onion in the cheese enchiladas. The red sauce was watery. Rice was hard and the beans had that white lardy look. The guac did not come before the meal. Asked for it several times and then when the waiter brought it where's the chips? Had to ask for the chips several times. The guac looked like it was just smashed avacadoes cut with a filler. The avocadoes tasted too ripe but the color of the guac was light (filler). No one refilled water or asked if everthing was o.k. Had someone asked we would have told them. We sat and wondered in awe why people were eating here. No Hispanics eating there. Young white people. Do you not know any better? We have noted over the years Patzcuaros is going downhill. Food is bad--service is horrible. The table of 3 liked their food. They ordered meat dishes. Then, we had to keep asking for the check. To the Mexican cooks that made the Enchiladas Rojas shame on you, you know better.

Best Mexican in Denver. This is the best place for Mexican in Denver. It's easy to get in and out and the food is fresh and delicious. We go on a weekly basis and have now stopped going to all other Mexican restaurants in the area! Simply the best!

This place is amazing.. I has a real feel. It say it's the best when people of the mexican heritage eat there too. I loved it and I hope you do to!

Simply awesome. I hate the Patzacuaro's and the addictive spice they put in their tacos Adovada that make me crave them fortnightly.

Ohhhh, you'll eat my tacos....
