We like to come here, every so often. Just like everywhere else they have good and bad days but 9 times out of 10 they are on point! We always get the rib tip special. I get mine with hashbrown casserole and pickled greens beans. OMG such an amazing combo. If you haven’t been here you’re definitely missing out in some good BBQ. GET YOU SOME!
Best place in town to get bbq and have good experience. I'm here always on my break for lunch. If my misses don't make my lunch I'm here. They got sweet tea here only few places in Denver that have some. Its real good too.
This is the best bbq I’ve found in the Denver area! The atmosphere inside is friendly, the staff is welcoming and the food is insane! The Mac n cheese was so good and cheesy and the pulled pork was so juicy and flavorful! And don’t forget the sauces, I love the Gold sauce, my wife likes the mild, no matter what way you go, the sauces stand up for themselves! Definitely worth the walk through anytime you’re around, and they are affordable too! It’s nice to go to a spot that’s friendly, affordable, AND tastes phenomenal too. Check out Yazoo, don’t sleep on this spot!
For a semi first time having a BBQ, Yazoo was a very traditional BBQ spot with a slight modern twist on decor. It's very homey and bar-like but the rooftop experience is really where it's at. Walking up the stairs to fresh air and a lovely bartender named Becca was refreshing. She's very quick, witty, and her sense of humour is easily my favourite in Denver! The brisket, chicken and hot links was very delicious, especially paired with the Hash brown casserole and house pickles. They brine the pickles with Jalapenos and vinegar and was savory with a hint of heat to it. My favourite addition was definitely the sauces they have to pair with the foods. You can tell they're house made and the flavour is astounding. Heat without flavour is meaningless. Definitely coming back here considering I work a block from here.

I had the three meat combo here for dinner with a side of beans. My trio of delectable meats consisted of two meaty, fairly seasoned ribs, shredded brisket, and the hot link. The hot link was pretty hot. Just as advertised. Now I have a fairly high tolerance of hot, so when I say it was hot, it was not for mere mortals. The brisket was tasty, but hinted on the drier side which was easily remedied by adding a little of any one of the good sauces on hand. The ribs were tender and juicy. The smoke ring was evident and the flavor was sufficient enough without sauce, but if sauce is your thing, by all means. The bartender was our waitress and came over just enough to make sure everything was good but not so much as to be bothersome. The bad reviews? Bad stuff happens. I encourage you to try it again. As for me, I live in Milwaukee, WI, and the next time I'm visiting, Yazoo will be on the to-do list.
Quick edit: Go to the bathroom somewhere before and/or after. You've been warned. Men's room was littered with graffiti and what looked to be small blood spots on the floor and wall. But still get the food.
EVERYTHING was phenomenal. New favorite BBQ place in the Denver area. Portion sizes are fair and the staff were so kind.
Full rack of ribs & two sides of potatoe salad & hash brown casserole... you can't go wrong! Must try if you're in the area!
Yazoo serves some fine BBQ for the best prices in Denver. I've only had the brisket but can't wait to try their St. Louis style pork ribs. Nice bonus that they have their own parking so you don't have to feed the meter. My favorite BBQ place in Denver!
Staff was nice. The food was good, especially the rib tips. They have there own BBQ sauces and that adds a great touch! I would recommend.
