Smokin Yard's Bbq

If I could give more stars I would! I have been looking for "Texas" style barbecue for years and just now discovered this place. We ordered the 4 meat plate and sides, and split this. I love me some baby back ribs and these did not disappoint! So juicy and the crust on the outside was filled with flavor. (See photo.) The brisket was the same, juicy with flavor from the outside crust. The burnt ends, if available (and they were when we were there) was juicy and delicious. We also, had chicken and this was good too. My #1 recommendation is THE SMOKED BAKED BEANS! Lordy-LORDY!!! These were so GOOD! So much so, I spoke to the waiter and inquired about them and he stated they actually put the drippings in those beans and also smoke them for hours. I do not know what kind of meat was also in these beans... but we loved them so much, I bought a large container for our Christmas dinner! (I think I may be starting a new tradition, for our Christmas dinner.) Also, they have 3 sauces to chose from at each table, all 3 were delicious. And the unsweet tea was so refreshing, it tasted fresh and not old or stale. Staff was friendly and the Christmas music was playing at a nice level in the background. All in all.... we left with full bellies and happy faces! And for sure will be back.

Smokin' Yards BBQ is amazing! I love to get the half chicken with sides such as green beans or sweet potato fries which are a crispy delight! The hot wings are also 🔥! They are thick, juicy and spicy. They also have boiled peanuts but they are usually a little undercooked so I’ve had to take them home to boil them longer on some occasions. They have a nice beer selection and a great unsweetened tea. This location is great because they have plenty of seating options compared to their Idaho Springs location. The staff are all so friendly and attentive too! 10/10!!

That St Louis BBQ ribs were outstanding. Everything tasted as good as they looked and there were three barbecue sauces to complement. That green beans and mashed potato were surprisingly tasty too. Despite the odd location sitting within the more industrial side of downtown Denver, the food would bring you back again and again

Really great Q in Denver. Very chill, knowledgeable and friendly staff answered all our questions (first timers), brought food out quickly and checked on us frequently. Burnt ends were packed with seasoning/smoke flavor but still moist, baby-backs fell off the bones, beef ribs very tender, and all the sides we tried were excellent, especially the friend pickles! Good local beer selection on draft! Specials are a great deal too! Don’t hesitate to give ‘em a try.

Visting from NC Starving after graduation and Googled this spot. What a treasure. Every single dish my party of 3 ordered was perfect. Great portions. All the meats and I mean all of them are flavorful and moist. The ribs have a perfect smokering and literally fall off the bone. The chopped brisket was delicious. The coleslaw fresh crisp and creamy. Fried catfish seasond and fried to perfection. Also one of the only places I found with proper sweet tea. Although I hate them they even had boiled peanuts. Last but not least if you don't go for any other reason the customer service if phenomenal. 10/10 they all work together. And the owner is one of the most personable people I have ever met. Someone you would want as a friend. If in Denver eat here. (Note to owner come to NC please)

Over all I liked it. Pretty good bbq for the price, my pulled pork was pretty dry unfortunately, just had to add a bunch of spicy bbq sauce which was pretty good. The fried pickles were the best I've ever had however. Would come back just for those. Not the cleanest tables/floor. Just felt sticky everywhere.
