This isn’t your typical family restaurant because it’s really a family run Fried Chicken restaurant largely. You come here for the fried chicken and will be convinced of that decision the moment you enter. The fried chickens were crispy without a layer of fat sitting between the meat and skin. The gravy provided was the icing on the cake. BTW the coleslaw was very good. Our server Margaret was courteous and attentive at all times. This meal would count as one of the highlights of our trip.

We were looking for a non-chain, home- cooked meal. WE FOUND IT! We started with livers & gizzards and proceeded to the chicken and shrimp meal. The finally was the homemade coconut pineapple ice cream. Everything was delicious. We only got a picture of the appetizers- too busy enjoying the rest to remember to take pictures! The owner and waitress were friendly and suggested just what we were craving! This is a must try restaurant!

Wishbone is a family themed restaurant of comfort food big time! Great fried chicken, perfectly cooked and nice and has a nice and crunchy coating. I got the Chicken and Shrimp. Didn’t like the shrimp at all. It reminded me of Supermarket frozen fried shrimp - big no to that.
But the Chicken and sides more than made up for it.
Server Paula was a true gem!! Best server I’ve come across in a good while.

This Family owned Restaurant has been around since 1963. We always go there for the Fried Chicken and mashed potatoes w/ gravy. Wishbone is extremely consistent and amazing every time! Lots of seating, almost never have to wait! Staff is always sweet and attentive! Every table has honey if you like that with your Fried chicken, we do!! They also have a takeout side if you would like to grab it to go.

Piping hot, completely juicy, and so flavorful. It’s like if the chicken from Popeyes (chicken that I like) was consistently good. I also highly recommend the equally juicy and delicious breaded mushroom.
The restaurant itself is ok and very old-time-y (think Elvis pictures) and the service was…ok. They didn’t seem to have a lot of the sides on the menu so that was a bit of a bummer. BUT doesn’t matter because of the AMAZING chicken.

Fried chicken was good, owner proud his chicken as the world best. But what really impressed me was chicken gizzards. It has a very crispy out shall, pretty much like KFC. Gizzard handle properly, not smelly. ill recommend having a half set of chicken gizzards if you want to try out.

I have been coming to Wishbone for almost 50 yrs! It has Never disappointed. I even come here for my Bday every year. Their chicken IS the best. But my favorites are the Chicken fried steak,dinner, & chopped Sirloin steak dinner! It's a huge meal at a great price! And Wishbone has Always been the Cleanest restaurant I've Ever seen!! The owners are so nice too. There's a good reason Wishbone has been around almost 60 Years!! It's just Perfection!! Even their dressings are homemade & are SO good!! I can't wait to go there again. Don't forget to try their Deep Fried Mushrooms!! Yum yum yum!! 😋 You've just got to Love this place!! 💜👍

Had a group of 10 of us. Sarah did a great job serving us. We had ordered a variety of dishes, including chicken, dark chicken, grilled salmon, vegetables, steak, fish and chips, and a cheeseburger. Everyone enjoyed their meal. They also listened to the list of food allergies and they were able to cook as ordered. Please take a moment to like videos and phots you look at on this review. In the long run it will help others who are searching for places on Google.

Loved this place. The beef barley soup was delish tasted homemade! The only criticism would be that they should make homemade mashed potatoes and gravy. Both of those items were packaged.

It's my go to place for fried chicken. I haven't found better locally, to be honest. Great food, and the staff is always friendly. I've taken my family here several times over the years, and never had a bad experience. I'd give 10 instead of 5 stars if I could!

I've been going here since I was a kid and for the 1st time I took my kids here. We are always reluctant to take our kids anywhere since they never finish their food. Well they enjoyed the food sooo much. My son dipped everything in the honey provided for the toast and I absolutely love their gravy. I dipped everything In their. The only thing my daughter was upset about was we didn't order enough. And we all agreed with that. If you do go get the family size it's completely worth it. This place is as good as I remember or better from my younger years. Thank you wishbone!

I have been eating here for many years and they constantly provide quality. This is a great place to get chicken. Friendly great service every visit. Try the #25 or chicken fried chicken, desert, soup or even a ham sandwich all will be prepared with care and worth the money. I am just so happy that they make it so easy to pick up take out and remain consistent every visit. Thank you!

It's been a few years, since I last visited. I decided to go again today because I was in the area. Service and food was great the last time I visited and I had the same great service and food today. It's a very welcoming atmosphere and even the customers are very friendly too. The servers are very attentive. This place has a "homey" feel to it, sort of like when I lived in the South. They had a good selection to choose from although, they are famous for their chicken. The prices were good and they serve huge portions. I had to get a box before I was halfway into the meal. I love chicken gizzards but never cook them so I only eat them here. Even if you don't like gizzards, I think my pictures did it justice. The batter is very light and the gizzards were tender. I had a side salad with ranch dressing and the dressing was light and flavorful. There is plenty of seating on the inside and plenty of parking on the outside with lots of handicap parking right out in front. I highly recommend it, great experience.

Food was good, only complaint I had is the salad a little wilted and mostly just lettuce. But everything else was good of course the fried chicken is always good. Next time I need to try the shrimp which looked good too.

Have not been there in 7 yrs. Last visit food & service were horrible. The restaurant was not clean . Maybe new owner or manager ?? Decided to give it a try again.. The wait staff were very pleasant and attentive. The food was plentiful & really tasty.
Very reasonably priced for how much food prices have gone up.
